Looks like an amazing trip. Love those pics, especially the night time shot of the “bottle”.

You’re about the 8th person to make that comparison.

Low-profile tires are exchanging functionality AND performance for aesthetics on a car that prides itself on functionality and performance.

(Except angry grilles and Hummer body kits on Wranglers. Unacceptable.)

I’m no fan of low profile tires and huge gaudy wheels, but this group was in the Toledo Jeep Fest parade and looked like they had a great time. Do what makes you happy.

But that’s my point. Whether you can stop safely should be the entirety of your decision. Slamming on the brakes isn’t safe.

I liked that they’d occasionally follow up with a caller to find out how accurate their advice had been. I seem to recall they were wrong as often as not.

But $kaycog would have provided a nice photo to go along with it in January of 2017. Maybe she’ll retroactively gift all of us.

I knew they brought back classic Solar Yellow for the Renegade but I didn’t know about a bright green. Where was that?

Yeah, I’d like to try one myself. Shame the Trailhawk never had a manual.

As good a place to post this really odd piece of information as any:

If I know I can easily make it through the light without accelerating before it turns red, you bet I’m not slamming on my brakes and waiting another light cycle.”

I stumbled upon the office of Dewey Cheatem and Howe in Harvard Square when I lived in Somerville 20 years ago. I never found out what the office was actually used for.

Thank you.

True, but I rely heavily on synchronization between my iPhone and iPad, including my navigation apps. Having an iPhone without service would quickly get frustrating, even with hotspot.

I’m a 100% iPhone/Google Maps user, but I have to say it would be refreshing to free up my phone for other stuff sometimes.

No way dude!

Crack pipe. That’s LJ money!

In many localities, my state included, the law isn’t “safely through yellow before it turns red” but rather “if you can safely stop on yellow, you must do so”.
