Sure, but finding cool hidden power ups, or at least easter eggs, is part of the appeal of this sort of game. By making them so lame they’re not worth going after, they lose one of the central draws of the genre.

Robert Hyde is, apparently, having some serious mental health issues. Mother Jones reported this:

Doesn’t help the Metroidvania aspect when the only thing to go back and hunt for are cosmetic upgrades, too. Spending fifteen or twenty minutes to get to a secret area, and all I get is my spaceship is a different shade of blue? No thanks.

That’s not even remotely anarchic. 

They ARE compelled to testify. How they feel about it is immaterial. And, frankly, the idea that they won’t want to see Weinstein in jail because they got some cash is just plain stupid, and more than a little insulting. Why are you so desperate to spin a modest victory for victims of sexual assault as teh villains…

You don’t have a choice about testifying in a criminal case. If you’re called as a witness, you show up in court or you go to jail.

And yet, they never stop complaining about how “oppressed” Christians are in the US.

Civil suits aren’t meant to help anyone but the accuser. Society’s concern in the issue is addressed in the criminal suit. The civil suit exists to make the victim whole for damages suffered by the accused’s actions.  And anyone Weinstein attacked who isn’t covered by this settlement still retains the ability to…

So, a few things:

The VR halo on some of these guys makes them look like their dizzy.

His backstory eventually reveals that he’s an Earl.

He’s not buying his way free.  This is a settlement for the lawsuits brought against him by his victims.  The criminal charges are a separate matter, and aren’t affected by this settlement at all.

I’m kind of amazed at how sloppy and inaccurate this story is. Disney’s announced half a dozen major new Marvel TV shows for the next year. They’re killing the Netflix shows, and most of the shows that are on other networks, because they don’t want to profit share with other companies, but they absolutely are not…
