From an environmental perspective it’s actually the smart choice, since it’s costly to the environment to keep an inefficient building running. And then you repurpose the material and make something less evil.

With all the large office towers being demolished and rebuilt in midtown I hope this gets the same treatment soon. From an environmental perspective I kind of hate that trend, but in this case I would make an exception.
