The feature that I care about that no one seems to is the sunroof delete. I have tried so many cars that were perfect, save for the fact that the sunroof, —which was mandatory if you wanted any other features — ate up all of my headroom.

I’m not sure how easy it will be to enforce. You’ll have to measure the truck’s ride height and compare it to a known ride height of a specific year, model and trim. It can certainly be done, though.

I agree with what you’re saying, I’m just always cognizant of other potential factors that could be influencing the creation of such a bill, especially given that other vehicle safety issues remain unaddressed (a simple example: People can (and do) drive in the snow with summer tires).

Be honest; you know why this law was passed and its got dick to do with safety and evetything to do with the owners.  This is america after all.
