I hate scofflaws just as much as anyone, but this was petty bullshit.

I bought a Bolt EV this summer. It’s not for people who live where winter is really extreme, or for someone who needs to regularly travel long distances because the charging network is the wild west right now. But as our second car it’s amazing. It’s practically free to run, requires minimal maintenance, has a few…
When it comes to this whole thing, the only thing that goes through my mind is...
Wow so much hate! I have a ‘20 F350 for work because I can put 4500 lbs of tile or block or whatever in the bed. I only use it for truck things (because it gets 12 mpg) and I daily the Model 3 or the Miata depending on how dirty I plan on getting. There are reasonable uses for this vehicle out there, and once in a…
That’s the case around here. Usually fleet F-150's with stamped steel rims and crap tons of dents.
There are a loooooot of people in this comment section that don’t get their hands dirty to earn their income.....
Should add ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ stickers, or is that reserved for Wranglers?
I have no problem with them being used for actual work, of course. But where I am the only thing they are usually towing is their owner’s egos (and presumably tiny peens). You can *easily* tell the trucks that work for a living from those that don’t. The shine, the lift kit, the giant chrome rimz, and the loud pipes…
Where I am the primary purpose of these (other than the cab-chassis rigs) seems to be to haul around one redneck and two Trump flags.
Really? This is what the Black community is chasing now? Jumping at every shadow and slight?
That’s probably because they’re available. I want a new Lightning, but I’ll probably be driving my old beater truck until the “after times”
Do you have any idea how much EVs cost? Also not everyone lives in an area where charging is easily accomplished.
I want to clarify, too, that I’m not saying the forced birthers are being any more truthful by making it sound like there’s a fully functioning heart at 6 weeks. I think their misrepresentation is probably more deceitful and their goals more nefarious. I also just that “the truth” is a little murkier than anyone is…
What I find so pedantic about this argument is that at six weeks, that electrical pulse is being made by parts of what eventually will become the heart. Not only that, but seeing the pulse and the pulse having a high enough rate are important signs that the pregnancy is viable and the embryo is developing.
I think it’s mostly brochure fodder, but the only real-world scenario I can think of where this would be helpful is if you tow something in the 7-9k range and want to be able to do that without stressing the tow vehicle too much. My dad roasted multiple Escalade transmissions with an enclosed trailer weighing around…
I won’t buy a car that uses a timing belt. If it doesn’t use a chain, I’m out.
The original LB7 6.6L Duramax V8 made 300 hp and 520 lb/ft in the Silverado HD.
I used to be all-in on diesel engines. And then I’ve run into a number of people who bought more recent vehicles with diesel engines. There is an issue with more modern direct-injection diesels where there is more chances to generate excessive carbon/coke deposits in the EGR valve and intake manifold. I have met one…
Cassowary. That’s the bird you want in your regiment.
This is the most beautiful and diabolical article I’ve read in a while, and I love it.
