If you’re interested in facts and values rather than general statements, please go to https://www.transportenvironment.org/what-we-do/electric-cars/how-clean-are-electric-cars

What really needs to happen is that energy production needs to get greener. Here some graphs from my bachelor studies comparing some electric cars with some new gas/diesel cars and one already existing used car (BMW E60 which’s  CO2 production costs is rated with 0), and comparing the us energy mix to the austrian one:

A possible solution has more facets to it than realized at first...so “shocking”.

If you’re driving an average of 4,000 miles per year and live in New York, God bless you. An EV is probably perfect for your needs.

Honestly I’d rather see EV’s focus on reducing battery size and weight. Light vehicles are more efficient and more fun to drive (IMO), and often anything over 150mi in range for an EV being used as a Daily Driver is just a waste. Even my commute at around 100mi/day would not blow that cap. That said, I will probably

I use my ‘14 leaf as my DD, 80 miles of range, living in Seattle proper, I drive ~8 miles a day, so it took me three years to go 10K miles. I think if people used these small EVs as DD’s and we upped charging infrastructures at peoples places of employment that could really help cities with carbon emissions.

It broadcasts to rural populations, and AM is king for pure range.

They care about range, not sound quality. Hence AM broadcast.

To give you an example, living in the heart of the Midwest in Iowa the radio station that reigns supreme is 1040 WHO. Not for cooky reasons like the ones that previous comments suggest. No, its because of The Big Show. A show dedicated to ag-related talk in the middle of the day that features latest trends, prices,

I can’t comment on the book, as I haven’t read it, but I did attend that TED Women event and heard Baldoni speak. Later that day, I had the opportunity to chat with him individually. He seemed to be trying to do the right thing. If memory serves, his dad was in the audience, and he said it was hard for him to talk

I mean, that’s one shitty way to put it. I think a more accurate headline would be, “CBS gets rid of more showrunners over alleged abusive behavior.” Right? Cause people who speak up are not at fucking fault. The complaints aren’t what led to this, these turds’ behavior is.

Matt Barnes plays the media game very well. Just like him saying Kwame wanted attention, as though this didnt start because they brought dudes name up on multiple occasions. Inviting him on the Podcast is a gesture that only benefits the podcast while also making them look like the bigger man when Kwame turns it down

Everything works except the AC? That’s all you need to know.

As a man who has had periods in his life when the AC was broken, let me tell you exactly what that means: “I am so poor, I cannot maintain this car. I have let every piece of this car wear out, even the parts that separate man from beast. The tires are worn

I remember having to bend the tail skids down on the 172s at ERAU almost every time I went for a flight. I still have no clue how that many people could land that hard. I had my private license before college and my instructor at home was a tall lanky dude from Fargo ND. He never really spoke much but if my landing

We were doing night flight touch and go’s for practice in the pattern and landing on runway 12. It was a moonless night and it was SUPER dark. The landing lights on the 172 give you about 1 second of vision ahead of you at 40 or so knots.

What was the porcupine flying?

inflight emergency (I once shut down the entire airport for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s AZ campus after hitting a porcupine with a Cessna 172)

Pretty obvious watching the ATC footage that Key Lime was proceeding correctly and the Cirrus overshot its turn, and is the at fault party. I’d assume, that they were focused on the Cessna they were to follow for landing and didn’t even see the Key Lime flight until too late.

dammit. Take your star.
