It is really rare when any of the editors get ahold of any interviews. But thinking back to the days of EGM and Game Informer, they were filled with a lot of critic reviews.

They’re not really decks so much as they are load-outs. You customize your role with four abilities, a class, and a weapon. They can only be called cards because they are provided with unique art; however, some “cards” have 3 pages of information and a standard playing card can’t do that. I really think the western…
Your Barrier Spell only kept you safe. Support abilities don’t target allies unless you’re of the healer type.
I’m pretty positive this game was only created as a means to generate money under the banner of Pokemon while testing the waters of a Nintendo-esque title on a mobile platform. People expect far too much from this app. That’s right, its an app more than it is a game. Don’t expect anything more from Niantic other than…
Having docked over a hundred hours into For Glory, I am of the opinion that it provides the lowest platform to showcase competition. Smash 4 itself has a gimpy landing meta, where characters are severely exposed upon landing. Without platforms to maneuver it is incredibly difficult create openings while being…
Exactly, and non-Omega stages are the place to showcase that projectile skill. Picking Duck Hunt in For Glory and crutching on projectiles is clearly exploiting as your opponent has no opportunity to counter-pick a stage that is not inherently in their your favor.
Movement looks great. Curiously, the video did not show any aerial maneuvers that did not involve the special attack. I would need to see some execution of those basic aerial attacks before I even think of funding this. As it is laid out currently, you would need to move your entire right hand to use the C-buttons…
Griffith sells his body to obtain resources for his company. And no, Caska respects Griffith for the sacrifices he makes, the root of her admiration for him. He is in no way beside himself when Guts leaves. He is surrounded by a kingdom that honors him. He is unable to cope, with the fact that someone has finally…
Need to be careful with how they advertise that talent. For all we know they could have hired the janitors from their animation offices.
Fuck man, he held the Egg of the King.
No. Absolutely no. The one moment of his honest, truthful self is seen when he divulges his philosophical view to the princess. And that is the one moment Guts realizes that he has been had, deceived. Other than that Griffith has been using others through and through for political gain; he is Machiavelli incarnate. Do…
Griffith was always a sociopath. He was just so damn good at hiding it until he lost it.
Thought I’d chime in.
“The professional critics watch many more movies than you or I do, which means they have a greater well of experience to draw from when analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of a movie”
LOTR had great acting and costume. LOTR also had poor pacing and story. Yes I know the books are great but they didn’t strive to adapt the compelling narrative they strove to show off eye candy and fight scenes, poorly shot fight scenes mind you; Jackie Chan would agree, with the fight scene opinion. They’re like…
It is funny because LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring has a positive critic rating on rotten tomatoes with a near 70% difference between it’s and Warcraft’s. And you know what? Fellowship didn’t do any better at introducing the audience to the lore. In fact I’ve learned of so much more LOTR lore from Tolkein fans than I…
Wow you should stick to reviewing video games. In fact you should play more video games, particularly Warcraft, because you obviously didn’t study any of the lore before bashing the film adaptation.
The root problem of your questions regarding the legal aspect of copyright lies in that you asked them to the game developers. Those two that you interviewed get paid to create the game not sell it. A more productive question would have been to ask their personal opinion on copyright laws. You kind of attempted to do…
Basch was intended to be the main protagonist but the suits made them put Vaan and Panelo in his place.
I’m pretty sure that III didn’t let you hold secondary classes, which left the game really stale. You’d essentially level a character and be given the choice to reset the character for flashier classes, a real turn-off. Also III barely had a story. FF I had a more engaging story than III from what I can recall.…
