:: sets aside $ for Judge Evans re-election fund ::

Well, next time maybe read the links. And the article.

No time to read the article, I’ve got ill-informed comments to make!

#NotAllWillfullyIgnorantCommenters

Person1: “I hate black people.”
Person2: “But why are you racist tho?”
Person1: “RACIST?!??? WHY DO YOU PEOPLE ALWAYS HAVE TO PULL THE RACE CARD?!!?? STOP MAKING EVERYTHING ABOUT RACE!!&!@!!”

It’s not just better training required for police officers. We need to stop hiring sociopaths for the job.

This guy sure didn’t seem too worried. Quite the change from lolz to...

Michigan apparently has a form of indeterminate sentencing where the legislature sets a maximum sentence and a judge sets a minimum sentence. When the convicted person reaches the minimum sentence he’s allowed to go in front of a parole board to ask for release on parole, but must serve at least the minimum.

I watched the whole thing yesterday. It’s well worth the time. A masterful anaysis of how when the system fails the cops, then the cops fail the community. My heart hurts for this judge; she sounds frustrated and exhausted. I hope she has someone to talk to so she doesn’t burn out, because we need her, and more like

Agreed. To a frighteningly large proportion of Americans, racism means calling attention to the fact that people are treated differently according to their race.

A *SINGLE* instance of these atrocities would validate the entire Black Lives Matter movement for perpetuity.

The fact that they are so common is beyond sad and disheartening. :(

Right, it was definitely the judge that made it about race *eyeroll*

Seriously. Like, they are responsible for creating the system that allowed him to do this. Honestly, I don’t even understand why they are wasting their time shaming him. He’s already shown he’s an asshole. Unlike the rest of us, who just have to take, they actually have the power to create laws that would prevent him

Because he was conspicuous about it. If he just kept it on the DL, they’d have no problem with it. In fact this system is exactly what they want.

Only for show. Every time one of those idiots like Chaffetz or Gowdy talk about “free market” capitalism and how it can regulate itself, they are essentially agreeing with what this little fuck Shkreli did. Because the alternative is regulation and I haven't seen any Republicans calling for that.

The invisible hand is supposed to stay invisible, they are more mad that Shkreli has been flamboyantly evil.

I for one will not be upset when he “overdoses” (read:assassinated)

before they begged him to be a good boy because he has so much potential as a “force for good”? They seemed more hurt than angry. It was like how could one of the vipers they had nursed at their bosom smirk at them! After all they had one for him in terms of deregulation!

I’m usually not one to “diagnose” random people in the news with anything, but sociopathy seems just so marvelously accurate for him.

The way I see it, you can go down in history as the poster boy for greedy drug company executives, or you can change the system. You have detailed knowledge about drug companies and the system we have today, and I truly believe—are you listening?
