Thank you so much for sharing that—I think it's a really amazing story and valuable perspective on what Tori has done to help lots of people!

Yeah—many guys I knew actually really liked her, and they were sweet (if tortured, not that I'm one to throw stones on that front). But the guys who "liked" her to get into emotionally fragile girls' panties—UGH!!!!

I like Beekeeper! Not one of the best, for me, but pretty solid!

Nope—he said he's in the former camp, meaning he thinks Dawn is an anti-vaxxer, not that he is. His whole article is about why he thinks Dawn is an anti-vaxxer, not about his views on vaccines.

I don't know—-I suspect that the shocking wake up call of Beth dying would make the whole March family fairly pro-vax. I could see them as having been anti-vac (God takes care of us!) but they are doers and proselytizers, so I could see Amy and Laurie founding some "vaccines for all" charitable institution.

I support "colour," "grey," and "theatre." "Chilli" however, is just WRONG!!

Excellent point! That supports how using these adjectives as nouns is clearly dehumanizing the subjects.

People are clearly doing it for the nookie.

Intuitive Eating has changed my life—and helped me hugely as a parent!

I've used the whole "If the knots get too bad we have to cut them out" or "If you won't brush it, we have to have a shorter haircut" strategy. My child currently has a Joan of Arc haircut and has a lot less tangles. I agree with the whole "it's part of taking care of things" approach, instead of it being about

Patriarchy?

I am a parent and am still Team Ketchup!

How awful. He sounds just horrid—and they all enable him. Barf.

Yeeees! I don't understand it, but my boner and I will frame it in a way that we like!

Glad to not be alone, but still ashamed.

Yes! "The state doesn't own your children, parents own their children, and it is an issue of freedom." By his argument, parents should be able to do anything, anything to their children! Abuse, selling them, killing them. The state shouldn't step in for any reason, because kids are property, and property rights are

His version is her high-heeled sexy waddle! I'm dying!

Agreed! That's the same as saying "marriage often bleeds into DV"—abusers will take advantage of what context they are working within.
