I've never heard of Sangamon Taylor, is he some kind of a genius? If he is, and I came up with the same idea independently, does that make me a genius?

lol Sorry to make it sound like I was serious. I understand it's a scientific measurement that wasn't made up just for the sake of expression.

Seriously, it makes me wonder how we're supposed to comprehend something that is "a billion times" anything. After a certain point, doesn't it just become irrelevent? As far as our threshold of comprehending these numbers, what's the difference between "a billion" and "a million" when it comes to stuff that we're just

Being that OK Go is known for their tech-manipulating videos, it makes sense to me that Gizmodo posts their stuff.

I think China didn't get the memo...?

Yes, you can look forward to a Marvel/Muppets cross-over shortly.

Japan's reaction: "pffsshh."

I suppose I can counter your view with the reasons why I jumped to non-physical media only.

With everyone making the shift to digital files, I would've thought this number would be MUCH lower than 49% by now. We're now in an age where, for most people, it's convenience over quality. We'd (I say "we" as in "mainstream") rather have mp3's over CD-quality sound, with no need to sacrifice physical space to store

I was expecting a much more dramatic ending. It's hard to believe this format is actually still around.

Actually, Task Killers are not very good to use, since Android does have it's own way of handling and completing tasks. People who use Task Killers don't realize that they're actually keeping the processes from closing the way they are supposed to, meaning that certain untraceable processes of apps are still running

Who cares about those other guys, what about Domino's Pizza Tracker?!?

Actually, this article (and especially the comments found here) will hopefully be used when restaurant owners come to us web designers, and we can say, "Here's what you DON'T want. Go ahead and read the comments!"

When you go to an artist's portfolio site, you should go there expecting to see load bars— the whole point of them is to show off graphic/media files, after all. But restaurant websites? All I want to see is the menu, your location, and your hours.

This patent always reminds me of that line from Art School Confidential: "How long have you been doing triangles?"

lol These actually look like tilt-shift images!

Somehow, I really don't buy the idea that the addition of T-Mobile's towers will affect the quality of your reception. AT&T's reception has ALWAYS sucked, even before the almighty iPhone.

I don't understand the hate here. Having your most-used apps delegated in between the 2 keyboards could be really cool; I just don't see why they still have the launcher present in the main screen. It could possibly free up that space and simplify the layout. They could also incorporate the notification bar to it too.

History repeats itself.
