I know you grew up here, and obviously have a history with California. It sounds to me that you've grown past appreciating all of the awesomeness that is CA. L.A. has been my home for about 20 years now (over half of my life) and I'm still seeing/experiencing new things here that I wouldn't be able to experience

There is no better way to motivate crazy scientists from doing the impossible than proclaiming something as impossible. We'll be jumping backward/forward in time in about 10 years.

If I were a ghost, I'd be Clyde.

Okay, so let's say they did this. They go out and release all of their big hits, fast and furious. But then ultimately, they want to give these great games the ExciteBike treatment. So now they're going to go out and release them all over again as yet another edition.

"Save Nintendo"?

Finally an easily accessible article that explains all of these terms in a way that I can understand! Thanks for writing this!

Tell that to this guy:

"Waiting a few seconds for a TV to power on is not a barrier for anyone who wants to play games."

Why wouldn't they be? It would probably be the same as transmitting any other game to it, wouldn't it?

Maybe they should create their own oil. This man did... and he LIVES IN JAPAN!

Still it's a good option to have. I just watched the Paper Mario Virtual DS game 3D trailer and that's looking pretty awesome!

I would assume that the headaches don't come from what each eye sees but from having to interpret both images at once and correlate them.

My girlfriend wears glasses and usually gets headaches from viewing 3D, too. But the beauty of the 3DS is that you can turn it up, down, or turn it off, all depending on how your eyes feel at the moment. It's nice that the slider is right there within reach and doesn't take much to adjust. I've had times where I'd be

2160P, baby! Now you can see every molecule of every Zit on every face!

"When did gaming become all about the power of the system and the graphics? "

Nintendo's business model isn't threatened at all. Why? Because they adapt their business model and strategies on how the market is at the time they release new products. They have this system down to an artform and it doesn't matter how big other platforms get, they've always adapted and came up with something

This is true, however Sony said the same thing about the PS2. They said they planned for the PS2's lifespan to be about 10 years. 6-7 years in, they released the PS3, and still kept the PS2 on the shelves (event till this day, so it's actually outlived what they anticipated!). It's reasonable to think that they will

For the sake of Man-Integrity, this word must be banned from the internet forever. K thanks.

You forgot the last part:

They survived the N64 game drought, and the GameCube era long enough to create the Wii and make tons of dough. They can survive anything.
