Except that hooking up a portable to a home console for games has never been a viable option for most development studios. Making a game that requires both is a huge gamble. If anything, the feature has to be made as an option and not have to rely on the gamer owning both systems.

For what it's worth, the Phantom Menace trailer was perfectly fine— it was the movie it was selling that blew chunks. Seriously, whoever edited the trailers for all 3 prequels deserved a massive raise. A polished POS is still a POS, but they made it look like gold long enough to fool everybody into paying up.

Tell me about it. Just to get an aux input installed in my car, I had to buy a whole car stereo. This was years ago when I bought my 1st Gen iPhone. Hopefully things have improved since then.
