I think the size of it also had something to do with it. I know for me it did. I also remember feeling the build quality (of both the controller and the console itself) and my first thought was "cheap." Then again, I was used to Nintendo's quality, which could withstand the brutal behavior of kids slamming them down

@fujii13: haha. so you'r gonna sit on the can smudge your fingers allover your touchscreeen, which will eventually press up against your face? Yummy!

@PunkyChipsAhoy: They could also do a phone service where you talk through your pinky and listen through your thumb.

@anabbeynormality: @ronaldmonster: If woot.com did their woot-off's 24/7, they'd be the new HSN.

@BPhillips21: My girlfriend has a problem with it because she has a desktop and a laptop, both of which have iTunes installed. There are different music on both (since it becomes a whole other organization issue to keep the two identical.) Problem is, as soon as she plugs her iPhone into one, whatever items came from

@fujii13: Hooked up my Wii controller to it. Awesome!

@planetarian: I guess my point is why they didn't include it right off the bat. Even though they have a planned update for it, why even deal with it? The best way to learn lessons is to learn from other's mistakes...

@pmindemann: Microsoft was late to the video game console party too, but they eventually did fine...

@akacrash: One other big thing that stood out to me is: no copy & paste. I would have thought that after all the flack they saw Apple go through about this exclusion, EVERY OS following suit would have this covered at initial launch. I guess Microsoft felt left out and wants to experience the critical pain themselves?

@infmom: On the other hand, AT&T's local coverage sucks compared to T-Mobile (firsthand experience on this one.)

@quicksilver8478: Which model do you have? My friend has a 1st gen Droid and was able to overclock his up to 1.3 ghz-ish. He was a bit disappointed with it before but rooting it totally gave it new life...

@quicksilver8478: Root that sucker, overclock it, then install Froyo. Then have fun with it!

@technologiq: When was the last time you remember an Apple announcement NOT being blown out of proportion?

Have you not watched the CG Clone Wars series (beyond the pilot movie, I mean)? I Netflixed the first season and I have to say that it's actually very good! That series is a prime example of what happens when Lucas relinquishes control and let dedicated people run the show. There have been moments where I'm watching

@wizard8873: I've actually been getting really annoyed with the N1's virtual keyboard. It seems like the glass is a little TOO sensitive and tends to pick up touches where I'm not touching. I also noticed that the rim around the N1 is too close to the edge, so my palm tends to register as a touch while I'm trying to

I remember reading their announcement right here on Kotaku and thinking, "If they succesfully pull this off, my productivity is in trouble."

@Kazama Sogetsu ♥ BlazBlue: I just downloaded Bust a Move for Android. It's pretty solid— using the trackball to aim at stuff seems more natural than any touch solution could for iOS...

@Bucky Rodgers (4:19 . . . close enough): Actually, back when the Special Editions came out in theaters, he actually joked that he was bummed the technology didn't exist yet to change his haircut.
