Phone service still sucks?

This design actually looks closer to the Soul Calibur III Link design...

@reducks: You mean nobody *born after 1986* knew him before Smash. Kid Icarus was #3 in the top 10 most popular charts for at least a couple of years, just behind Super Mario Bros. and Metroid!

@mrwumasta: Isn't that the same as buying it from Wal-Mart?

Believe it or not, there ARE iPhone users who happen to have/want Microsoft products...

I for one think it's actually cool that they're releasing a variety of devices for the DS line, although the DSiWare issue is retarded.

@gordiehowe5: Well, it seems like I'm the only one here to say otherwise, but I actually kind of like the fact that they're doing incremental upgrades.

I actually think the biggest problem with the first one was the framerate. Although I thought the controls weren't great— I thought they were okay (especially for a launch release.) But man, that framerate made my eyes bleed, and it just turned this pre-Metroid Prime 3 experience into a gruelingly painful time.

After 33 seconds (5 of which had actual singing,) I can say with confidence that I've seen enough. lol

@amcog: "unholy nexus of polygons."

@amcog: "I can't really see how depicting a girl's underwear as character design."

See? This is why I loved the N64. Nintendo had a steady stream of games— 1 per month. It was a good time because I had the satisfaction of fully completing every game I bought. If I finished said N64 game before the next one came out, I'd spend that time playing a PS or Dreamcast game. It was a good time!

Aren't people who have 4:3 monitors used to having the black bars on the top and bottom? It works wonders for movies & TV...

@Lagi: lol No endgame is exactly why I've been having to stay away from this game (and pretty much every other MMORPG). The one time I gave in, I ended up spending a year and a half on it, and my non-productivity guilt just couldn't take it anymore!

@infinitezero: Sony makes money off of the PS3 from everything else: Controllers, Accessories, etc. Not to mention licensing out the Blu-Ray technology to all videogame publishers, movie studios, and anything else that has anything to do with Blu-Ray.

While people are posting FFXI life spans, I've been alive for 304432 hrs. The game isn't too bad but hopefully, it's gearing up for a satisfying ending! Definitely a must-buy game.

@nworobes: Also, lets not forget the ever-present licensing fees. The Beatles, in particular, was an incredible feat to get to. There was an article in last months' Wired issue about how they were able to obtain it (rather than letting the Guitar Hero guys get it first). Nothing short of a miracle that this got made!
