Sony just needs to start thinking in the now-term.

I've said this so many times since the Wii first launched: Nerf should make a Nintendo-endorsed Wii remote! To hell with the condoms, and wrist straps. Just make it Nerf.

Pull in the now-defunct Free Radical guys, for Christs' Sake. They need a job, and you guys need some hardcore games going on!

@Geist002: Hmmm... maybe that's the point of them using this name...

@GrantBourque: Looks like we ninjas need to stop lagging, then.

@KichiGuy: Much of THQ's games are licensed games. This can be a double-edged sword— on one hand the audience is built-into the franchise. On the other, it means that most of the release dates of these games are meant to coincide with that of the franchises other deadlines. This usually translates to less development

I think the "Next-Gen" he's talking about is actually the "Next-Next-Gen", since now is actually "Next-Gen"... right?

watch out for that rabid horde of squares.

@Gam3r: With all the legacy-promoting Nintendo's been doing with the Wii, I wouldn't be surprised if they've added more unlockables, or plan on releasing more via downloads...

@stupid_mcgee: uber pyro > zerg rush: You're kidding, right? This logo reeks of bad color choices, and just overall bad top-level decisions(if there were any to begin with).

How about just ditch the stupid single-player crap and just tailor it to multiplayer. Who the hell cares about the story when you and your friends each have a freaking sword?!?

@superberg: Response to #2: That's why you're supposed to spend the $50, and THEN find out that it's repetitive and short! :P

@Archaotic: It IS nice to see them do better. But what they need is consistent numbers. The Wii outsold the other consoles at the same consistent ratios (and numbers, due to the production cap they had to deal with) for something like two years?

@Archaotic: How is it surprising that console numbers are down? Everybody's broke! The fact that the PS3's numbers are up from last year doesn't say a whole lot, since the PS3 was tanking back then. All it really means is that the PS3 is selling decently now, but these should have been their numbers this time last

Combo.

Steady-cam makes this a no-buy for me. I already have a headache from watching this...

@ithyphallus: playing ti safe has ALWAYS been Nintendo's strategy that works all the time.

@That Lamer: I remember when I was a kid, I got a call from them offering to jog my TV watching time for a $1. Of course, in kid currency a dollar was enough for a comic book so I said "hell's yeah!" So I got the dollar in the mail, through the rest of the packet away and laughed all the way to the comic book shop
