@Bialia: lol that's a severe case of denial if I ever saw one!

@illiniphase4: "Nintendo is like some sort of tiny, evil, immoral god when it comes to repackaging the same old thing and managing to sell it without remorse."

Wait, what? Trillian is considered old and outdated? When did this happen?

@beril: Here's a 100 million reasons why it was good to replace it so early:

Yeah, because investing in a company that has been around for more than a hundred years, and probably one of the oldest of it's industry (and currently most profitable) is a bad idea...

@grantanamo: Do you not like playing games with your friends?

Hopefully, there will be unlockable purple Gay Blade outfits.

"This is a national effort to crackdown on speeding," = " Our national economy is falling like a brick and we need your money"

@AncientUnknown1: Are you kidding? Were you not here for the Wii drought over the last two years? The DS property is even hotter than the Wii, and I can only imagine Nintendo does not want a repeat performance of that...

@Jeff Paine: I don't know if I was imagining this but didn't they do a Wii launch event there, too?

No Splitscreen. FAIL.

I think what many people haven't come to realize yet is that when a "shooter on-rails" game comes out on the Wii, it's really just a point-and-click game. I mean shouldn't those be reserved for Flash games?

Megatron MUST be stopped... NO MATTER the cost...

@Crawl to China: I think at that point, you could count the number of NES games with your hands. The 12-page newsletter came out every four months, and was my first exposure to the concept of "Cheat Codes." The first of which was the up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-b-a-b-a-start code. I memorized that one for

Man, I remember this guy from the Nintendo Fan Club newsletter days, BEFORE Nintendo Power!

This is the first I've heard of this. Which part of the multiplayer aspect were they getting sued over? The shitty match system or the shitty gameplay?

"multiplayer for one-on-one matches"

@xxXX_Insanities_Birth_XXxx: Do you realize how much $$$ and resources goes into the production of a game? Also, being that this was going to be a licensed game, it draws more emphasis on the importance of meeting the release date because more than likely there were a lot of other marketing factors based off of that

@TRT-X: Then again, the definition of what a "possession" is may be redefined at that point. Even now, look at how software applications work. Although you pay for Adobe products (as well as every software and video game you've ever "owned"), you're actually paying for a license for use. It doesn't take much of a

@DeadlyWhispers: Oh, that's an easy one. Anybody who has ever creamed their pants with the idea of wielding a lightsaber.
