The message is important and stark, but there's something that bothers me about this — are we sending the message that every single person who was simply reported ought to have been jailed? That every single person who faced trial for rape ought to have been jailed?

Agreed completely. If they're going to be looking at picture after picture anyway, you may as well have a message attached to each one in hopes that maybe it will eventually reach them. You can't force anyone into recovery, but you can plant a seed and try and cultivate the idea within that person.
I don't think a company is obligated to filter through this content, but I also think it speaks volumes to their character if they choose to. It seems like an easy step to take, one that doesn't really cost them much (if any) money to implement, and could make a major impact on the lives of those who see it.
