I despise this Kinja stuff So I regretfully will not participate much in the discussion anymore, which saddens me, but this was a fantastic episode.

David Lynch is many many things, but a troll is not one of them. He tells his stories his way. Uncompromising.
I liked Chantal’s dialogue too. RIP Chantal. That truly was the last bag.
The single happiest TV moment since Desmond called Penny in “The Constant”.
WILSONNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it was perfect. With Lynch the waiting is part of everything.
Speaking of which was DOES need to be tied up? Obviously Evil Coop needs to be defeated and the Audrey thing should be addressed as should the eyeless woman in the jail, (who is possibly Diane), but what else is there? Presumably the Green Glove Guy is in the jail to punch Evil Cooper so that explains that random…

Dougie Jones 3.0 is exactly what I’m expecting though I suppose it’s possible Coop will return to Janey-E and Dougie Jones 3.0 will take over Dale’s identity and go back to the FBI.
Also, I’m still not happy about the lousy bowie impression last week. The teak kettle I can deal with but couldn’t he have recorded his line at least (while he making his last album)? Or even (yes I know he was dying) just have gotten a decent voice actor who sounded like him? I found the voice more off putting than…
“Bad binoculars! Bad, bad binoculars!”
Janey-E in the car with Coop reminded me of an opposite version of coked up Becky in the car with Stephen...and that’s about the only thing remotely interesting I can say about the Becky storyline.
...on second thought...I forgot about Coop asking Mike to make another Doppleganger. Maybe it won’t be the real Coop returning to Janey-E and Sonny Jim after all. I did think it was a little odd that he would shirk his FBI duties for domestic bliss.
The question to me is, is it too late? Yes, this was definitely a cheer-worthy episode (this and last week’s episode being the only two I’ve really thought were good), but with the status of the show being pretty unclear (no talks for another season, at least that I’ve heard), what’s the point? We get one (well, it’s…
I burst into tears at the Twin Peaks theme accompanying Cooper saying, “I am the FBI.” I didn’t realize just how much that moment would matter. Between that and last week’s Ed and Norma reunion and Log Lady’s death, this show is making me a weepy mess.
God, I love the Mitchum Brothers.
If you face Nick Denton’s failed microblogging platform with imperfect courage, it will utterly annihilate your soul, and then automatically log you out.
I’m sure it’s frustrating, but it is a “Review/Recap,” so perhaps you should be prepared for spoilers, or just watch first.
I knew this could only be an A episode. Definitely my favorite of the season. “I am the FBI.” I cheered. Could be a corny line from a different actor but MacLachlan just nailed it.
Spoilers in the headline? What the fuck? Can’t I refresh the reviews page without getting spoiled so heavily? I just wanted to check the letter grade before diving into the episode, and now... well, it won’t be quite as fun, will it, Emily?
