I like this. Reminds me of the final episode of Justified, which, although not comparable to TP in many ways, finishes off the main story thread in a few short minutes and spends the rest of the episode going a few other places that relate, but aren’t at all necessary to the earlier conclusion. I would love to see a…
Any year you are in is “the present.”
What is with this mind-numbing trend of people who admit they couldn’t be arsed to watch/read/experience something but feel obligated to share their observations on it?
You know what else is bullshit? This criticism about Naido being a placeholder for Diane as an example of “sidelining non-white characters” wouldn’t even merit comment if Lynch had just cast some random white woman to play her.
Cooper making a new Dougie makes sense with him telling Sonny Jim that “Dougie” will be back, then changing it to “I will be back.” But I am right with you in hoping Agent Dale Cooper retires to raise his son with his wife in Las Vegas, perhaps working as a security guard for the Silver Mustang and enjoying the…
It is grayed-out when pending. But I don’t know how you’ll see this reply without a ridiculous amount of scrolling, because apparently Disqus worked too well at allowing easy access to replies.
I’m sure it’s frustrating, but it is a “Review/Recap,” so perhaps you should be prepared for spoilers, or just watch first.
When Audrey walked into the Roadhouse, I yelled at my TV “Eat that, Internet! It’s not a coma!”
Sitting here, waiting for the new review/recap to drop, and wondering if the discussion will be even 1/100th of what it was a week ago based on all the obstacles the Kinja changeover has put in the path of fan engagement.
Also, I have to log in on Chrome to even post this, because for some reason Kinja will not work with my Firefox. Adding hurdles such as these does increase engagement.
Your “contact us” link still goes only to Kinja support, which is not at allhelpful. I just want to express my displeasure with the changeover, particularly the commenting functions under the new regime.
Kinja is awesome! Bland style. No way to sort comments. Vast majority are still pending. Nothing has migrated yet. And it has basically killed this discussion. Yay! And I had to switch browsers to post this because it won’t let me log in through firefox!
