probably the genius that figured out that people would pay a premium for it.

"I don't have hops? Fine! Then nobody has hops!"

"To be fair to the Kings, Karl is almost certainly a better coach for them than Corbin."

In case anybody missed it, the FBI released data on the number of crimes in the US in 2012. For Newtown, CT the number of murders is listed as 0. Rather than a mistake or oversight, the tinfoil hat brigade have taken this to mean the FBI is admitting Sandy Hook was a hoax.

You leave SVP out of this! It's down to him, Buccigross and maybe a handful of others for ESPN personalities I can appreciate.

I think it is usually the best nationwide show on the radio. He has his missteps, but everyone does. His serious issue hot takes are great imo

I prefer Dan Patrick by leaps and bounds over Cowherd and Rome. DP has much less dead air, will ask his guests tougher questions. But the big thing to me is when talking about themselves, Patrick comes off as more self-deprecating and playing a character (especially with Danettes chirping in) while Cowherd and Rome

Patrick doing afternoon radio (he was on 12-3PM where I lived) was my last connection to ESPN except, of course, live events. He's just enjoyable to listen to without all the hyperbole. It's really a shame that Cowherd, Bayless, Smith et al represent what that network has become.

Am I alone in thinking DP has a pretty good show? I mean, Mclovin gets on my nerves but I'm fairly sure that's his intended purpose. But when I work from home, it's DP I keep on for ambient distraction.

This is funny. Sad, and funny.

Jets fan here, can we talk about soccer?

"Some guys like old balls."

Ha!

What a lying sack of shit.

Browns fan here. Can we just talk about the draft instead?

"Maybe they should read the rule book." -Tom Brady last week in reply to complaints about the Patriots' unique formations against the Ravens.

"It's Garropolo's fault, and I recommend he receive a lifetime ban."

I disagree. They appear to be good at getting caught.

When Bill Bellichick heard the news of this report earlier tonight, he promptly fired the team's equipment manager for failing to do his fucking job right by not under-inflating that 12th goddamned football.
