there seem to be genuine lessons to learn from their story. Wondering what you are objecting to.

The father probably feels like he could be helping others by sharing his regret. I am not sure how much it will help, but if it makes him feel better in this awful time, why not?
My first choice is probably Clinton, but I like Sanders too. I really want it to be over because watching Dems tear each other apart makes me anxious.
There are 4,047 delegates and 794 of them are superdelegates. That’s 19.6% of the vote. I agree that, as the primaries continue, the superdelegates will make less and less of an impact.
The whole system is designed that way and has been from the beginning. In the Federalist Papers, Alexander Hamilton basically said common people were too stupid to vote. That’s why we have an electoral college. So people smarter than you or I can decide who’s best to govern.
Honestly, Sanders should be more worried about the fact that she is polling 25-40% ahead of him in Texas, Florida and New York. He needs to win at least one of them.
While I don’t dig the clear Bernie bias in the following Paste article (nor in this Jezebel article either...”the excellent campaign”?), I did find the q&a on the history and relative lack of importance of superdelegates to be informative: http://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2016/…
Regarding your first point, this is my all-time favorite quote regarding Libertarianism (to the best of my admittedly limited research the attribution is accurate)
There are a couple of different ways they can go off the rails:
Yeah not to mention South Park had a great season. Pretty much everyone over at the AV Club (a better site than this now) thought it was the best season in many years.
this article says nothing lol like its almost amazing how bad this is.
That is a spot on description of every Libertarian I’ve ever known.
Well, you put it better than he did. However, the odd obsession with bashing South Park (and I’m not really that into it, haven’t watched it in years) is confusing. The assumption that everyone hates South Park (which is at least occasionally, pretty brilliant) and will understand why it is LIKE Rand Paul is sort…
I wonder at what point libertarians actually become crazy assholes. Like in paper “less government, more social freedom” sounds like a believable political idea. Did it just go off the rails at some point? Like Republicans used to be a real party. Then they adopted the Southern Strategy. Was there a similar path of…
That’s because this article is 0% substance.
I am confused by your hatred of South Park and also by its alleged connection to Rand Paul.
You know there is a lot of evidence for that.
Kanye West doesn’t care about women people.
God, this makes me want to take a shower. Is this what the future will consist of? Political campaigns using every new communications platform as a way to hawk the next revolution? Maybe in 2020 Amazon will use their drone army to deliver and install yard signs crowd funded by naive 20-somethings.
I can’t tell if this is exactly was Steinem was saying or the exact opposite of what she was saying...
