I feel you and good luck with that, truly. But I think having to explain the socialist thing is going to be a problem in the general election. Let Trump/Cruz/Rubio find one photo of Sanders hanging with Communists, or spouting off about redistribution of wealth and he’s done. And then there’s this....

Correction: A liberal Supreme Court is REALLY TERRIBLY MEANINGFUL TO MORE THAN 50% OF THE COUNTRY.

Wait until you have to explain what a Socialist is to low information voters? It'll be a blood bath if Sanders gets the nomination. He's also not a fan if having to explain himself; he gets arrogant and angry and it's not a good look. I will not lose the chance for a Liberal Supreme court for the next 30 years by

I think it will change because as soon as a Bernie nomination is secured, he'll immediately be trotted out as a Commie Socialist and in our low information voter era, that is not a chance I am willing to take, especially when we might have a liberal supreme court to gain from a Democratic President. Bernie will have

THIS IS PERFECT.

Yes.

Thanks!! Watching Bernie sanders during the debates and taking to supporters reminds me of when I was in my 20's taking with my “liberal progressive” dad about the study about how women are interrupted by men in interpersonal situations, and he KEPT INTERRUPTING me to tell me that the study is stupid because gender

But how is Sanders any less of the disingenuous panderer than you think Clinton is if of course there won't be a revolution?

Right. And Sanders is going to lead a political revolution with a legislative minority and having won the public the support of virtually none of the legislators in his own party despite having served in Congress for 25 years.

Exactly. I’m supporting Hillary Clinton because I think she would be a better candidate in the general election, a more effective president, and while both candidates are overall very similar in their positions, where they differ my views are more often similar to Hillary’s than Bernie’s.

I am aware of those polls. The Republicans haven’t ripped him to shreds yet. I think most people don’t pay close attention to primary contests and they have no idea what Sanders believes. I have no faith that general election voters will give a Socialist agnostic Jew the time of day.

True. I guess. But the president has 3 jobs:
1) Int’l diplomacy (he’s largely silent on and shows little real interest in)
2) Appts to SCOTUS (besides “overturning Citizen’s United”, we don’t know how he wants to shape the bench...of course, we don’t know that for Hillary either. That I blame on media)
3) Leveraging

I’ve spent the last few weeks feeling a little down and almost ashamed, thinking that the good lefty thing to do is support Sanders. And I do! I love him! I love his politics! I just happen to think that Hillary is better qualified, more temperamentally suited and more electable. AND the thought of a female president

YES!
When Albright made her comments and Steinem...I didn’t like them, but you have to look at them in the context of those two as individuals and Hillary as a person. She is eminently qualified. And, shockingly, some of us progressives think that more progress can be made by her approach to politics than by shock and

I love this. Anyone who completely dismisses Clinton’s gender as irrelevant isn’t thinking about the bigger picture, and the picture you posted perfectly summarizes it. If she wins, there will be an entire generation of teenagers in this country who grew up under a black man and a woman as the presidents of their

One point of contention between them (I think at the last debate) was that Bernie was talking about how disppointed people were in Obama. He promised all these wonderful things, but couldn’t deliver. And I think he’s right, that people have been disappointed...but does he really think the outcome of his presidency

Of course everybody wants what Bernie wants. The problem is that there’s no way he can deliver. We already elected a dreamer and the GOP has made it their life’s work to discredit him. I want someone who knows how to get things done.

Yeeeah I used to feel this way, and then I started researching Bernie. And then I started researching Hillary. And man, now my heart and head both want me to vote for Hillary.

I wish I had saved the tweet somewhere, but I feel it was the most accurate statement of how I feel about both candidates.
