Honest question because I want to do this right. I teach (college level), and the first class I always end up doing the attendance list for my seminars - often with first year students I don’t know.

A friend of a friend insists on being referred to as “ahumanperson”. I kid you not. Try working that into conversation... “Have you heard from Jennifer?” “Yeah, she...uh, I mean..ahumanperson called me last night.”Since that’s incredibly awkward and difficult to remember, we now just use ahumanperson’s name...Jennifer…
I lean more towards Bernie but I think the complaint that Hillary isn’t feminist or liberal or whatever is BS. (FYI, I too am a non-white woman) I wish other Bernie supporters would take a page from Bernie’s book and stop with these stupid attacks and be respectful of his opponent. And also, stop posting bullshit…
“...but lay off the Hillary is a racist who only supports white women mantra or only white women support Hillary nonsense. I’m not white and I’m supporting Hillary because I think she can win and I’m not buying the Bernie “anti-establishment” “purity” test for progressive policies.”
Exactly! She’s polling nearly 2 to his 1 in Nevada, and more than that in South Carolina. FiveThirtyEight has been saying for a while, for Bernie to really take off he will have to slay in Iowa and New Hampshire, and somehow convert that into a major uptick in states that aren’t so lily-white. He’s doing well in NH,…
Oh for god’s sake, go ahead and support Bernie or whomever you want to, that’s your right, but lay off the Hillary is a racist who only supports white women mantra or only white women support Hillary nonsense. I’m not white and I’m supporting Hillary because I think she can win and I’m not buying the Bernie…
The term is so “1970s”. They really need to just call them “suits”.
Not to mention that two almost exclusively white States (Iowa and New Hampshire) is hardly representative of the democratic party. Democrats win presidential elections because of the loyalty of African Americans, Latinos, and women.
Take notes Sanders supporters, this is how Hilary’s complete obliteration of Sanders in the “Invisible Primary” starts to pay dividends for her and why pundits, even with Bernie’s better performance than expected, still think she is a big favorite.
A black president brought out all of our hidden racists.
Honestly, is everybody crazy? Perhaps it’s their respective staffs, but Bernie has got to know he is not going to be President of the USA no matter how right he may be. It is not going to happen. He should have done this 20 or ever 10 years ago. But he is too old. Sorry, I’m old myself, and I don’t want my grandpa…
Then Bernie should’ve included that demand in the initial negotiations. He didn’t. He just said 3 debates, and now he’s pouting that one of them may not be exactly where he wants it to be.
Counting Thursday’s (potential?) debate, the DNC has six debates scheduled. I mean, is that not enough? The people who were going to watch the debates to make up their minds will have ample opportunity. And the Clinton/Sanders debates have not been particularly enlightening, for whatever reason. Perhaps its because…
Exactly. This feels to me like he’s trying to make a strategic adjustment and, not surprising, she doesn’t want to help his campaign out. This is why good strategic planning is critical; he probably could have gotten it if he included it in the debate negotiations.
thank you. #ImWithHer
I can only presume that in the next round of demands one of Bernie’s conditions will be that he not be questioned about foreign policy.
It very much comes across like he’s changing the deal and then pouting when Hillary says, “That’s not the deal we made.”
I’m #TeamHillary here. You said you wanted more debates, everyone agreed to add more debates, and now you want to change the deal? Tough cookies. You should’ve spoken up before.
I’ve said this before on another thread, I think he honestly thought the GOP would just make way for him. He treated/is treating this presidential run like it’s an inheritance to be handed down or kingesque type thing that goes to the next heir. He was so certain he would be the front runner that he put little to no…
Is Jeb Bush a tragic figure? Does he just love traveling a long way and spending $14 million so far on muffins? Most importantly: how is he this bad at making jokes? everything involved with running for president.
