Two of the greatest Holdens had a 3 litre straight 6:

The best version of my 06 Pontiac GTOs.

If there is ever a world government of and by the people it will definitely put all of the oligarchs on trial. People like this should be condemned then even if they don’t live to see the day. Imagine commanding the resources to modify and make unique dozens of examples of a hybrid between engineering and art just to

They hade me at Maloo.

I have to agree that the Lotus Carlton is an excellent choice. I’d be tempted more along the lines of the Droopsnoot Magnum myself, or the South African Chevy 1900 cousin.

Yeah, a human driver might not be fooled by that 3, but you could definitely make a fake speed limit sign that would fool them (assuming the road was at least somewhat manageable at that speed)

Lol, the fuck?

I certainly did, Tom, and can you show me where it say something along the lines of “buyers that engage in immoral activities are due whatever comes their way from the banks they’re trying to screw”? Because that’s what this is, Tom. It’s the consumer trying to screw over the bank. Edit: Which, by the way, also did

Does no one here fault the morality of the buyer?!? Jesus H - its like Tom is completely absolving the buyer of any fault, here. Nobody held a gun to the buyer’s head and said “sign here”. This speaks more to the “I deserve a new car” mentality of people than it does to the sales tactics of a car dealer. Dealers are

Yup, I agree. The last “phantom debris” yellow I remember is Martinsville 1, 2019, except it wasn’t phantom. There was an axle ejected onto the track from Ross Chastain’s car. Made for a funny TV moment, and otherwise, not so much with the debris calls in the last couple of years.

Great article. The issue I have with NASCAR is the way the races often get yellow flagged with a couple of laps left for “debris”. They seem to want the entire field to get bunched up and make for more exciting racing.  There needs to be some middle ground between NASCAR and the F1 model of the race over after 5

Mine, though I do miss my old G8 GT.

Former 2x LS2 GTO owner.

Mine.

Do you understand how public companies operate?

I’m sorry, but as someone who has owned two utes (see my avatar), the decision to put that nose on a Commodore was the beginning of the end for me. It is not an appealing face in general (to me) - BMW does the nostril look so much better. Take this with a grain of salt as I’m probably just biased.

You’re not lying about the interior of the GTO. Knew someone that had one, and at 6'3" I could comfortably fit in the back. Always loved the look of the second gen

You gave Americans the Pontiac GTO and the Chevy SS, and those were good cars.

You gotta know when to Holden...

The loss of Holden is sad, but it was already a husk of its former self. It reminds me alot of seeing Pontiac killed off. It was a great brand that made some legendary cars but like most things that Mystique GM touches, it eventually withers and dies. Kudos to Ford Australia for tweeting a very classy farewell,
