@atrus123: Agreed. I have a friend that says she can't replicate the issue but she never travels outside of great coverage areas. She stopped by my place yesterday (a barely decent coverage area) and I dropped it to no coverage immediately by holding it.

@CaptainJack: Having the top bit of the phone sticking out of your pocket so you can see just the signal bars would probably be just fine while still replicating the pocket scenario well enough.

@sbunny: I miss BBM too. I'm running an Evo now and the things I miss the most are my keyboard, BBM and sound settlings.

@fhall1: That's why I just can't do cases and screen covers. My phones have always been work horses but they've also looked nice, it's a shame to cover that up. The iPhone is a gorgeous but it pretty much demands that you put it in a case.
