It kind of doesn't look so bad...

@Jason Scott: Did Lifehacker overheat and crash a user's computer in June 2010?

@EvilJ: Resurrected: Exactly what I was thinking. Standard typical Apple user mindset? (Not talking about actual power users or people that find the function over the form in them.)

@elvenangel: He also didn't say it was an iPhone. He said it was a package.

@PsychoSuperman: Damn. Maybe it was just a bag of clothing...? Not that it's an excuse but it might be logical... except he didn't even seem to wait for the truck to be in park before leaping out.

@Xeraphim: Did she get the sandwich right?

@Petey Liu: I agree that it is a problem solved but why did it have to cost you extra? Not only that, it takes a gorgeous handset and uglies it up just because Apple went the form over function route.

@nramos332: I think a person that knowingly did something stupid with their handset would be more likely to tell their lie quietly to a Genius Bar employee rather than trying to get it blasted all over the internet via Gizmodo.

@negative13: My i5 750 has been shutting down on me randomly during light game play. Come to find out I was pushing it to 81C during gameplay. Ouch.

I like how this is posted the exact same day I start having heat issues on my system. Convenient, Lifehacker... A little too convenient...

@Stetrain: Stetrain swoops in for the save!

@PoG: The thought that this has been widely distributed will only lead to checking first. It's not like this thing is locked in place.

@tyler.derden: Full squish recumbent? My mind = blown.

@rahrness: That was such a disaster. Luckily, everyone handled it like men.

@Deftly @Cupajo: Thanks! It didn't work out well for me though. I did go to the main site and somehow signed up for the beta despite it being closed. They emailed me with official links and everything. Up and running now!

I've been running it on my Evo. It died yesterday. It insisted that my trial period has ended.
