Thank you. What a bunch of pointless, anti-climactic navel gazing with absolutely nothing interesting to say. It reads like a college freshman’s first semester essay.
Wow, do you think so? I thought it was MFA nightmare writing.
White gorillas, always trying to make it about them
Not enough Google, you have to give every black person in the world $10 dollars.
By your logic, celebrities shouldn’t be especially good looking either because ‘normal’ people would just want to see ‘normal’ looking people in movies. In reality, most celebrities are especially good looking (or interesting looking) with the exception of a lot of comedians who often just need to be funny.
Don’t we know this already? It isn’t “the norm” to be a 0, but at that size the curves/shapes of your body don’t interfere with the lines of the clothes. If your business is clothing design, you want to show off your designs, not the body underneath.
this is ridiculous
If my (ex? who knows, she ghosted!) best friend had just texted something like “Thanks, but I feel like we just don’t click the same way as we used to” in response to my “hey let’s get together soon!” texts, then it’d be acceptable. Relatively spineless way to end the friendship, while not being completely spineless…
Hey, I said I’d call you on “Sunday” I didn’t say which Sunday.
OH NOW YOU GIVE ME AN EXPLANATION, I WAITED FOR YOU FOR TWO YEARS BEARS
In relationships (established) or attempted relationships (dating), if the ghostee is:
lolololol this is a joke, right
Yeah, because there could be no bigger insult than calling someone a slang term for female genitals.
Can someone explain why women are defending this term?
Funny, because people feelings are taken at face value when we’re talking about sexual harrassment done by males or when somebody claims that they were raped/assaulted.
It would if the student were a girl and the teacher a man. Right?
1. Her job is to teach early childhood education. And lack of professionalism IS a reason to be fired because if she was working as a teacher in a kindergarten, you bet that parents would be calling for her to be fired.
I actually know a bit about what went on here, but can’t say a damn thing for professional and personal reasons. There is more going on that Jezebel is would have you think by their reporting of “ prof. fired for saying naughty words”.
If a student feels that such language is harassment, I believe them. If a professor can’t teach without resorting to language that her students find harassing, then maybe someone else should be doing the job.
It’s like if someone’s dog escaped and your neighbor decided to shoot it.
