Yeah okay, maybe

What is an opinion like this doing on an automotive website? Will Elon Musk and the Republicans get a chance to reply on Jalopnik? That was ugly, you could do better.

Holy contradicting yourself:

The right to free speech means the government can’t arrest you for what you say. It doesn’t mean that anyone else has to listen to your bullshit or host you while you share it.”

Then you (and Adam) immediately argue that Elon censoring people he doesn’t like and kills free speech? Talk

What do you expect from the children of the Truck Nutz generation? This crap makes the neon green double wipers that I had on my 1979 Celica seem like a genuine performance upgrade.

People who think they need 300 mile range typically only need it a VERY small amount of time with the rest of the time being a much smaller range. The answer for them is really a PHEV that will eliminate 90% of fuel consumption and all the range needed for long drives with zero range anxiety.

If it were my only car, I would need a 250 mile BEV due to multiple annual trips to see family. However, 95% of my days I drive less than 40 miles daily, so a PHEV with a 40 mile battery range would eliminate over 90% of my fuel consumption with a 1/5 size battery and zero range anxiety.

Range is less of an issue than recharging speed and infrastructure (for longer trips). I can charge, overnight, at home, and that would work fine, 330-340 days a year. It’s those 15-25 other days that create the huge psychological hurdle, where I’m trying to go 200+ miles in one day.

Stellantis and their propaganda, I swear they get their ideas from watching the government officials in the “Chernobyl” special.

Cybertruck aside, I’m with you. I can’t stand to look at these GM twins.

I can detect the Boomer Hoarder Smell from here.

I think I’ve seen that in Chicago..

Never seen this in 40+ years of driving.

Pro Tip: To get a whole tankful of premium, when the owner goes in to pay, drive away in their luxury car.

but but but other articles are saying that Elon will be the first trillionare !!!

Yeah, the people who want one really want one.

It wont take long to fill this niche and sales drop like a rock.  It is priced way higher than it was supposed to, has much less range, and is turning out to be built like crap.  Resale is already below MSRP and will continue to go down fast.

Kicking Every EV Truck’s Ass In Sales”

The insurance company is the bad guy here, the dealerhsip is the GOOD GUY for once.  All of these are backed by insurance companies so the dealer took this out of their pocket to make it right.  The dealer should get nothing but good press for cleaning up after the insurnace company.

Many people replying to you here that are okay erosion of liberty, as long as they agree with the circumstance / example being used. Sad.

This seems like judicial overreach. This is why hard cases make bad laws. Lawyers will always try and push a precedent to further limits each and every time. You gotta set hard and fast limitations on them to stop this sort of thing.
