Disarming the cops in this situation would have likely meant a bunch of dead cops, as the guy wasn’t going to get arrested without a fight. Completely ignorant take.

Dude, just go back and read my original comment, I stated I was considering it based on my situation. If this doesn’t work for you, don’t do it. I was just laying out what could be a viable option for some, if they like the Alfa, but are worried about issues. You don’t need to keep trying to piss in the cheerios here.…
So you commented basically just to say you think the Alfa dealer is lying? Weird take. The dealer is a 6 min drive from my house, and they offer free loaners, (which I know for a fact they actually do, as my neighbor two houses down has a Stelvio.) I’ve dealt with plenty of warranty claims from Ford to Audi, and never…
Honestly I almost pulled the trigger on this, but only CPO (Certified pre-owned) with a warranty. From our local Alfa dealer (3 miles away) 5 year 100k bumper to bumper warranty, zero deductible, free loaner cars, and free oil changes for life. (Like for us would be until that warranty is up, then it would be gone.)…
Also, pardon my pedantry.
The article is about leftover 2022-23 models, ;)
The Corsair 2.3EB makes 295hp. The Corsair 2.0EB is 250hp.
I think you mean the Corsair, but if you’ve been inside one, it’s baby Navigator nice. The Lincoln interiors are top notch. (And I don’t think you can get the 2.3EB in the Escape either.)
Going to leave a lot left on the lot when they are only alright alright alright.
Come on, we have to be lincoln this to something...
The numbers that were left out but should be in the article.
The new Hurricanes make 90% of peak torque from 2,350rpm to redline.
So the regular Hurricane is making at least 422 ft/lbs of torque from 2,350 all the way to redline.
The old Ram? 410 ft/lbs and not until 3950rpm.
That’s a lot more shove a lot further down…
The 10 speed really leveled the playing field. The 3.5EB still has a massive shove of torque down low which is really nice, (I have one.) But if my next truck becomes my for a really long time truck, I may opt for the 5.0, because noises.
Shortened version for the TLDR crowd:
To me this is a symptom of how out of shape our society is, more than it has anything to do with the car.
Huge touchscreens should be illegal. Can’t have your phone in your hand, but you can use a poorly designed tablet as long as it’s imbedded in the dash.
The other thing that needs to go away is very bright LED running lights paired with a very well lit dash. So many people end up driving in the city with their lights…
I get 22-23 with the cruise set at 76mph with my 3.5EB 10 Speed (4wd). You guys must be running AT tires? Or were you talking just overall mileage?
No it’s not. Plenty of solid low mileage vehicles can be had for under $20k, will they be fancy? Probably not. We’ll probably be selling our 2015 A3 2.0Tnext spring, (78k miles on it, just had the second DSG service.) It’ll be under $20k, all maintenance is the same as a GTI basically, and gets 30+ highway.
Some local e…
When are you guys going to fix the issues with comments? Every time I go to view all replies I get a console error of “Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘contentRegion’ ) . As a developer I have to assume y’all are getting error emails from this regularly. I get this in chrome and a different error in…
We go the Detroit Grand Prix nearly every year. Excited to have it back downtown, our tickets this year are for the IMSA day, (we switch off.) We’re on a rooftop deck with a DJ, food vendors etc, overlooking the circuit. Then Steve Aoki plays at 7pm in Hart Plaza. We’ll get to an F1 race someday, but having this 15…
I saw 212 on a few sites, but even still, that’s pretty dang close. If the Colorado had 6.5" bed instead of a 6 foot (so equal bed lengths), they’d be basically the same length. Bare in mind these numbers were off the old Colorado, (I couldn’t find good specs on the ‘24, but its likely bigger per reviews that state it…
