A perfect example of someone who is unable to distinguish between their own opinion and fact... Pew did a study on this recently, wonder if you were in it? :p

It wouldn’t be a political post without someone making a groslly incorrect accusation based on preconceived biases in their own mind. I never implied nor stated the two sides are the same. The only thing that meme implies is that people on both sides are frequently drinking the kool-aid. Congrats you played yourself.

You should check your fly, I think your bias is showing. The only thing cancerous is the “my sight is the righteous the other side is evil” mentality that both sides have today. Your comment being a solid example of it. No nuance, no conversation about it. Then add in a few hot talking points like “secret police” and

And that likely can and will happen with or without this little stunt.

So many angry anti-Trump comments here, as expected.**

What most of you aren’t thinking about is the fact that people will be cruising that day whether or not this little political stunt was happening or not. Every weekend there has been tons of cruising happening, and yes you can cruise and social distance. (I live

An hour? Why didn’t you pull him off?

Exactly, know it’s limitations, and go have fun. Most places I was small enough to get around stuff larger vehicles had to hit. In spots there would be deep trenches dug from muddier days, I’d just straddle them and cruise through slow. That little Patriot would lock a tire in the air and send power to the other side,

Jeep put a Trail Rated badge on a Patriot, so you never know. We had a Patriot for a while in northern Michigan and just with some larger AT tires, all else stock, I could get places new FX4/Z71s and numerous other 4x4s couldn’t. (I was just going out to work on mountain bike trails.) I’d be miles out on an ORV trail

I wonder if these people asking for this realize it could potentially mean the cutting of some jobs at Chicago Assembly on the southside of Chicago, a plant that’s over 90% minority employees? Not to mention it hurts the company they work for, and will literally hand business to their companies competitor.

Exactly this, and mid size trucks don’t really do any better than full size either. I ended up with an F150, even though we don’t tow much, because it just made sense. Nearly the same MPG as SUVs, (yes we have a car too), it sits 4 adults super comfortably, the flat back seat floor (seats up) is great for traveling

Yeah my parents convinced me to sell it when I went off to college, in favor of a more fuel efficient car for coming home, which I did like twice a year. Still. miss that truck, vinyl floor, I’d just spray it out at the car wash.

^This ^ It may be slow, but it’ll run forever. Mine had 180k+ on it when I sold it, motor had never needed anything but oil. Hell the truck had the original clutch still, and I was a teenager...

I had a 94' F150 XL 4.9L/stick. LOVED that truck. It was extremely slow but so endearing.

Also:

There are drunk people doing the same in enclosed spaces every weekend right now in Michigan. (I live in Royal Oak, the bars have had lines at times the past few weekends.) At least with Jobbie they are outside.

If you don’t get off your boat, you are socially distanced just fine. Will I be at Jobbie? Nope, but I wouldn’t have been at it regardless of pandemic. I’ll probably be at Raft Off though.

I live in Royal Oak, really tempted to go looking for this Kia/golf club combo... Also I could see the same thing happening to me here if I started acquiring projects.

We’re definitely on the same page. I do love the exotics, but they aren’t why I go to a car show or meet. I want to see the off the wall stuff like you said. And I love econo-box go carts, but I’m partial having had vehicles like an SVT Focus and a Saabaru in the past.
