It’s old enough that this could be considered a resto-mod now right?
I corrected it, I accidentally grabbed the wrong image off google, (check it now.) That was a C3 with a C7 drivetrain being put in, (so trans mated to the engine for that build.) I grabbed it in hurry, should have looked at it closer before posting.
A couple things:
Technically Corvettes are mid engine now, (front mid engine is a layout.)
There are other reasons to go to mid-engine besides hoping to improve weight distribution, (which they really can’t do over their current setup.)
Based on your original comment I’m going to guess you aren’t aware the the…
I think I read some place the new Z06 or ZR1 will be flat-plane, so that would line up with this./
49.4% front, 50.6% rear on the C7. You consider that crappy?
They very well may have boost by gear on this car, (or he may get a better launch after a few tries.) I think the ET would have come down if they could have gotten a few more passes. From my understanding this was his one and only 1/4 mile pass in the car.
FYI, that was a run on “medium” boost. She wasn’t even turned up.
This couple is my wife and my co-spirit animal if that’s a thing.

Well at least your name holds up...
I had mine from like 40k to 140k miles. Other than the hatch paint chipping on me more than once, it was a pretty good little car. Always wanted to S/C it, but I eventually moved on. If I found the right one clean today, I’d consider buying one.
I had one in high school. Some wheels, a loud cat back exhaust and some stickers and I won best car in my high school, (2001-02). Thanks Fast and Furious! In all seriousness though, that car sounded great, was decently quick, and made me feel like I was driving a high end sports car at age 16.
This is how all crossover SUVs should have AWD. (And even passenger cars.) Way better mileage, burn way less fuel, faster, and zero range anxiety.
That’s not a plane....
Err...
Christ that’s a nice MX-6.
Come to Traverse City with a Yaris on Blizzaks, I’ve got $500 that says it can’t make it, it’s WAY steeper than it looks, and you’ll have a front tire in the air multiple times getting up it. (That’s if you can even get the Yaris to this climb on the preceding trails.) Have to cover a whole lot of sandy powerlines to…
I could see that, lots of rock out there. The trails here in Michigan are fairly tame, just lots of sand. (Unless you get into the U.P.)
Did you even read my post before replying? As stated in my previous response, I actually do use my vehicle. I put AT tires on it because I’m on trails literally every week, (I’m a mountain bike trail builder up here.) My tires didn’t cost a lot, they aren’t very loud, I did lose about 1-2mpg (but I drive under 10,000…
