I love the Fiesta ST (previous owner of an SVT Focus and the “old” Focus ST.) It’s not AWD though. If I go FWD, this is basically the car I’d get.

It wasn’t dissappointly low on power, when it came out it beat the GTI and Si in shootouts (Car and Driver 2002.) At the time GTIs made 180hp, the Si Hatch made 160, and the SVTf made 170. It was right in there.

This is a D23 car, those are great little engines. If it has a header and tune along with the CAI it’s making 175hp or more. These little motors can make 195-200whp with I/H/E, a set of cams and a tune.
