Fun fact. The cop that let Dahmer go, and handed his victim back to him, is now Chief of Police where I live.
Dahmer was also notable for the utter mess he had in his house - drums full of body parts, stuff everywhere - and the police actually walked through it and did not do/see anything but bring his escaped victim back for him to kill. Have you seen the photos from the investigation? He might as well have had a banner in…
America has a long and sorry history of abandoning certain types of ‘allies’.
I remember that case. It just pains me about stuff like this. Guys like these are just what you say, monsters. Sad thing is that they are all in our communities and no one gives a tinker’s damn.
This doc interested me because it was about the investigation into over 100+(?) missing or murdered Black women in L.A. It looked like it was set in the poor-to-working class section not far from my aunt. It wasn’t graphic like horror or serial killer porn; it was a brightly lit exploration of the hood. It was…
I usually only look at my own greys but I’m having a little trouble lately...they really are Deplorables, aren’t they?!
Glad I am not the only one who caught that.
I understand your weariness but let’s not forget Iran, Saudi Arabia, Russia and China are not just gonna sit back twiddling their thumbs. Syria and all the factions are proxies for those governments for various regions. I feel like the only reason they’re not doing more right now is they’re watching to see how low the…
I knew about the Grim Reaper but I didn’t know he had accomplices after the fact. Its sickening. Its absolutely disgusting and horrifying. Men stick up for each other because they see women (and children for the pedophiles and pederasts) as completely disposable.
You’re either missing the point of the article or are being purposely obtuse. The point is black women who go missing are not looked for as hard or as much as white women. Especially black women who are poor, sex workers, or drug addicts who go missing. That is the point of the article.
Most psychopaths are not Hannibal Lecter. Psychopathic sadists like Little usually prey on the abused, vulnerable and forgotten. That cop in Oklahoma intentionally picked black sex workers to rape and rob because he knew they would never be missed or believed.
The Grim Sleeper doc on HBO stays with me because of the fierce defense by his friends at the beginning. As police removed his van and evidence, his three regular ole hood bum friends yelled from their porch that the police set him up, so adamantly!
I mean Malcolm X said it best, the most disrespected person in America is the black woman.
What Samuel Little did is target the “Less Dead” as many serial killers do: people on the margins of society who are in some way ignored and as such their death and disapereance aren’t felt as much to the public at large. When we look many other serial killer they tended to target sex workers primarily, knowing that…
Check out Lonnie David Franklin Jr. Another one who preyed upon low risk victims. Hell, the LAPD referred to the crimes as “NHI” (no humans involved) because the victims were drug users and/or prostitutes.
it reminds me of the Grim Sleeper, Lonnie Franklin. he was captured in Compton not too long ago but most of his victims were black women and, again, he was not caught for decades. and they’re not even sure they found all his victims. like Annie said, the police help keep the victims invisible with their non-actions.
Here, in Cleveland, Anthony Sowell stalked and killed black women, got away with the deeds for decades. He got away with the racial loophole that nobody would give a damn about a troubled black woman, outside of her immediate family, if she went missing.
About 15 years ago, I wrote a treatment about a black serial killer who mostly targeted black women and was told that it was unrealistic because “black men aren’t serial killers” My response was “at the end of the day, black men are men and a whole lot of men are capable of being evil”.
