Not that it will break (which it will, and so will anything else classic)... but what does it require in time and cash once it does?

Yeeesh ...... He’s easy to please.

Until it breaks ....

He got (or thought he got) busted for speeding ... made all this up to cover it. I just tested my 2001 X5 3.0 ..... the brakes will fully overcome the throttle at highway speed. And, of course, shifting to neutral or turning the ignition would be sure fire “stoppers”.

Sorry, but:

Here it is, but comes with some extra turbos :

There goes the just-prior generation Escalade ESV .....

Stef nailed it. I was all set to pronounce the winner.

Since the V8 CTS-V wagon is out of the requested price range, the G8 is it!

The V8 Pontiac G8 is comfy, fun (with 6-sp), fast, reasonably nimble, easy to keep running and great on gas ... especially for a hot-rod.

Heh .. I rather liked handing it over to him that way .......

So many opportunities to use this, lately.......

Drop an engine in & register it ....

Results of son practicing “The Flick” on the upper level of the CCS parking garage in Detroit.

* More practice needed

This resulted in an impromptu trip from NH to MI to make the car drivable, so transportation to school in Detroit, from Royal Oak, could continue.

* Pack the suburban with all tools expected to be needed,

CP, just because it’s stupid (a well set-up 4-wheel copy would do better off-road) & ugly.

Hybrids?
Yeah, OK, I am not against the core of the design thought.

What I have been against is:
* Look at me, I have a hybrid (or electric) .. and I am better than you, for this (unique and hideous designs).
* The Government (that means; me & my neighbors) paid for your car (most of it).
* I’m so green & you’re not ....

Nicely done

BOC playing on YouTube now ........

ELP - Brain Salad Surgery Concert (1974) was my mind blower (the on-stage visual show).

Since they are all smoking ... He’s flicking his old cigarette on the ground (butt head), so he can get a fresh one going and be super hip.

Me too ... I also, put the fire out instead of letting it burn, which would have gotten me a nice ins. check. Didn’t think of that ‘till after the Adrenalin rush. Of course, I’m too honest to do that anyway, but still .....
