Amen. I was out there this year and saw what i assume were the tracks from Jessi Combs attempt at the record out there over the summer. Its an incredible place to visit. I tried myself but ended up 440mph shy of her record. *sigh*

My experience is with Tacomas and 4Runners. Those lower mounts do not pose a problem from hanging low.

Well ain’t I just dumb. My simple “ If it has low range, its 4x4, if it does not, it is AWD” theory just got muddied. Now i gotta go tell those people i argued with on the internet that i was wrong.

They are going to replace it with one with more lanes. It was in the works for the coming years, but this kinda sped up the plans on that. So we know whats coming, just not when. I haven’t been under it in a few months so maybe they have added catch fences.

We have an overpass where a nasty wreck claimed 4 Airman in a big fireball wreck underneath. The fire damaged the bridge so its been closed for months, but the interstate under it takes tens of thousands of people under it each day. I cheat and use all-terrains. When i can’t get up a driveway i put it into 4x4.
