Terrific episode of SNL. But on a live blogging site, the cold opening voicing was out of synch. in a great number of areas and streaming options. You had to almost turn away from the TV and listen as if it was radio.

I’ve said this before but... Hateful Eight, lovingly and expensively filmed in 70mm, probably shouldn’t have had most of its action take place in a dark and cramped interior.
“Is that something that plays on Amazon, and people watch it on their couch?”
He was really kind of a stupid guy. Leaves his SMG on the kitchen counter, leaves his finger on the trigger while riding in the car. He probably should have checked the other room when they went to whack Brett, too.
Could be worse. Could be on that Venture Bros timeline
Hoepfully this gives them time to figure out where the color saturation slider is.
That’s interesting. I didn’t look at it that way, but by then we were 2 and a half hours in and I was ready to go home.
New Girl completely outlived the creative value of its premise and that’s okay. There’s no need to extend it when it already lasted well beyond its cache of good ideas. It was awkward and a bit ambitious, then very funny for a good while, and then varying degrees of amusing until it was a show that retrospectively…
I was a big fan of the show - really enjoyed the cast and never thought that Jess was bad on the show as many seem to think. But the show felt like it overstayed its welcome by the end IMO. The seventh season was pretty weak compared to prior seasons and I really wasn’t clamoring for more when it ended.
Couple of explanations:
1) He has to, for parole reasons, stay near there, so he advertises it as a package deal - get a great lodge/conference space and a reformed supervillain as a guest speaker
2) Even if he doesn’t have to stay there, he’s got to pay the bills on that place somehow.

Between suing Todd and suing her old firm for wrongful termination, she probably has enough money to do mostly pro bono.
I don’t know if DD and She-Hulk ever hooked up in the comics, but then again, those characters were written before anyone knew Tatiana Maslany and Charlie Cox would have enough chemistry to cause…
The show pretty perfectly captured the She-Hulk comics IMO - this is the exact sort of thing you can imagine happening there.
As far as Moriarty knows, he is in the “real world” and the programing in the “box” probably ages him to keep up the illusion,
When half the cast is from one movie, they might as well call it Black Widow 2
Ke Huy Quan was also at D23 to talk about his role in season 2 of Loki, which led to this lovely picture:
i think the explanation is more mundane than garden variety sexism: Captain Marvel is, in my humble estimation, a mid-to-bad film that takes one of the most fun and live-wire actors of our age and wastes her by forcing her to play a flat amnesiac for three quarters of its runtime. when she finally gets a chance to…
Something is definitely off about Halbrand. We’re going to need 9 kings of men to get rings at some point in this show, so he might be one of them.
There’s no way the Stranger isn’t Gandalf. Of course he’s Gandalf. I’m not steeped in Middle-earth lore, having only read the two main books, and not remembering much about the history and timeline of events outside those stories, but from what I understand Gandalf’s kind didn’t arrive in Middle-earth until the…
How could you forget Scott Thompson from Kids in the Hall!
