You can’t explain how scary it is to be a woman walking alone at night unless you’ve been a woman walking alone at night, and there’s a particular kind of terror involved as a woman being attacked by a man or group of men. A guy gets jumped by a guy in an alley, his first concern is the other guy is going to steal his

yeah, i know.  I cant imagine a live action mojo happening at any point this decade.  Even if they get an xmen tv show up and running that wont be out till 2024 at the earliest and 2025 seems more likely. The Xmen present a problem in that they were kept to their own corner, more or less, for most things, and that

I’m also nerdy enough to have mapped out an entire multi-season series of my dream X-Men show :) Unwieldy is right. The First Class, The Second Gen, New Mutants, X-Factor, Age of Apocalypse and Days of Future Past all in there, making up each season’s major theme. (6 is the television sweet spot, imo) Genosha,

That might be the only way to salvage it, I don’t know. Still so clunky. I’d prefer if they do something like Razer demon made him imagine that he was ever not a little person, but that goes against a bunch of stories that showed him big.

I want most of the xmen stuff.  I want the brood, the full on shi ar, the star jammers, the savage land, mojo, alternate futures, secret cabals of rich and powerful mutants, mutants living int he sewers, the whole shebang.  Hands down, xmen have the coolest....stuff.

Honestly, the moment Peggy raised a sword and shield in What If? I was not going to be satisfied until she someday wields Excalibur and gets hit on by Opal Luna Saturnyne.

It’d be fun to see Alpha Flight and (esp) Guardian/Vindicator. An interesting experiment to have a group of mutants sort of like the B-League to the X-Men, awaiting their call. (If I remember right; been almost 40 years since I read them.) Still have issues 1-30 or so. I remember 1-12 were pretty, pretty good.

That seems like rather questionable logic TBH. It’s a historical document concerning the personal relationship between two of the twentieth century’s most famous and influential artists. There doesn’t have to be “new developments” for people to take an interest in it; the whole point of artifacts like this is that

I know fans like to construct unofficial Beatles albums using songs from their solo careers, and I’ve always imagined my own faux-Beatles album comprised of diss tracks they wrote about each other, like John Lennon’s “How Do You Sleep?”, Paul McCartney’s “Too Many People”, George Harrison’s “Wah-Wah”, and Ringo

Looks good.

As a huge fan of Tolkien’s books and someone whose opinion of the films is very mixed, I’m excited for this, but I’ve been a little bit disheartened by some of the fan reaction. One camp is complaining that it doesn’t look enough like Peter Jackson’s films, another camp is complaining that it won’t be entirely

I’m just going to come out and say it:

I really don’t understand this marketing campaign for The Flash.

I still stan for my idea of the Obi-wan show being a noir about him getting involved in the Tatooine criminal underbelly, and having almost nothing to do with Jedi or the Force. One of the core conceits is that Obi-wan has basically cut himself off from the Force so that Vader can’t find him on Tatooine, which means

After three episodes, my opinion so far is the plotting decisions of this series are pretty terrible. Centering a show around Leia being kidnapped and Obi-Wan having to confront Vader while rescuing her is dumb because we know Leia is going to survive, we know Obi-Wan is going to survive, and we know Obi-Wan and

Good God. Lighten up, Comic Book Guy.

Theron was almost a victim of her own good looks. I mean she is stunning. So I expect she had plenty of work thrown at her early and often for roles that didn’t require much (thinking Reindeer Games, Bagger Vance and The Devil’s Advocate, for instance). Monster aside, it took her 15+ years to get meaty roles. Loved

For me it’s been Cecily’s show this last 10 years

If they ever make a Mae West biopic, they *need* to cast Natasha Lyonne. I can’t be alone in wanting to see this?

Now playing

Bryant’s rare in that she is equally good playing the weird center of a sketch or a person reacting to what’s going on. She could basically be thrown into any sketch and it would be better. Her role in “Meet Your Second Wife,” for example, is smaller than almost everyone else’s, but she really stands out:

If they add ONE MORE PERSON, even one, it’ll be a giant mistake. JAJ/Villasenor/Fineman/Sherman/Day alone is almost a cast worth of talent.
