This is your reminder that the song that’s being performed in the header image is friggin’ phenomenal and something perfect to listen to during Pride:

Routh is gay.

Though I love me some Brent Ratner films, I 100% believe we dodged a speeding bullet with him not making a Superman movie.

Why are they changing the titles? Is it just to fool into thinking into these are new instalments altogether? That’s kinda scummy.

Why is Zack Snyder even a thing?

Yeah, who (if anyone) has done the Dakota Johnson “yep, that’s sure a show I’m in” for TV?

It’s possible that Netflix’s deal was for a PG-13 space opera movie of a certain length, and Synder blew everything up too much that they had to chop it down.

That’s the saddest thing I’ve ever read. He is pretty delusional.

Why is a directors cut even a thing for Netflix? For cinema and into home release, I understand. But you made a movie for home release...why not just release the vision you wanted to from the get go??

Related to those last two items, when was the last time some actor, writer, or director said “ya know, this next season is fine. It’s maybe not as crazy, shocking, emotional, or funny as the last three, but it’s pretty good I guess.”

Benedict Cumberbatch was totally not going to be playing Khan, either.

Yeah, and Andrew Garfield said he wasn’t in No Way Home.

How does this news affect Joe Biden’s chances in November?

When Ian McKellen leaves this world he damn well better get silver rains, white shores, and a far green country under a swift sunrise.

To be honest, I’d still would have like to have seen Dougray Scott’s version...

Maybe move the last paragraph until after the final still from the film? Took me a minute to find the release date since that single line meshes in with the sign up for the Gizmodo newsletter

I’m not sure that The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was all that much better.
