Westworld was a very expensive show that completely lost its audience. HBO has been green-lighting final seasons of expensive low rated shows for decades and nearly all their prestige dramas have reached a planned series finale.

Given the amount of disarray Paramount is in these days I’m amazed we’re even still getting that Starfleet Academy series. I’d really like to see Legacy become a thing. Maybe with Disco and Lower Decks finishing there will be budget for that? But I imagine Legacy would cost a fair bit more than either of those shows…

I like Renner, but he seems like a very optional part of the M:I franchise.

Fortunately not taking over Mission Impossible allowed his to take over the Bourne franchise...oh wait

Remember when the Ghost Protocol trailer came out and there was all this talk that they were introducing Renner in that film to take over the franchise because there were rumors that Cruise wanted to leave the franchise, or just hand it off to someone else?
