Holy shit, people taking their helmets off on a hot race track. This is like a chain event of everything you're not supposed to do at a track day.
I appreciate the restraint shown by not going off on a creepy tangent when RCR used the word 'Tranny'. The ball field scene was a little dark though, haha.
Thanks for the compliment!
As an aviation enthusiast, current generation Russian SAMs sounds absolutely terrifying. It would seem that Russia can develop this technology exponentially faster than it takes to develop another weapon system to counter it. If I was an F-15, F-16, or Ukraine Mig pilot, I would be feeling pretty nervous at the moment…
This is probably my favorite year Mustang. I especially like the notch backs because it keeps the looks simple. I would drive a six cylinder any day of the week (as long as I paid a fair price for it) but my ideal ride would be with a 390 and a four speed, notch back, hub caps, basic interior, and in Meadowlark Yellow.
Toyota should take the Prius, slap a Scion badge on it, commission Yamaha to make an extremely over square/rev happy sub 2 liter turbocharged four cylinder with 300 hp, give it adequate suspension and brakes, use the electric motor to fill in the torque deficit below 6k rpm and herald it as the poster child of their…
So does this confirm the return of L88s to the next Bloomington Gold event?
I honestly think that's a fair statement. I'm not an expert in the hot rod community, but we've gone from streetable low 12 second LS1 cars in the early 00's to pretty much any junkyard Gen III or newer long block to making 600+ horsepower with just about any combination of accessible parts you can think of. What…
.... Que 'Idiot Wind'...
Just for the fun of it... I have 300,000+ miles on my 1999.5 Jetta. Most of it highway cruising at 3500-4000 rpms because of the close ration gear box.
I've been saying this since I was in fourth grade. The Rogue Squadron books were amazing and what prompted me to actually get into reading.
I don't know. The symptoms are pretty obvious for the V6s when the car first tries to crank, as it has a nasty stumble/cough right as it's about to turn over, sometimes spitting out carbon. You will know it when you hear it. It can also cause the engine to run poorly on 87 octane, my guess is because you have a…
Not really all that butt hurt about it. I used the web site a lot when I was a teenager in high school. Glad someone made a ton of money off of it.
It would be financed by a last chance 'buy here; pay here' used car lot and be a stick shift that won't go into second gear first thing in the morning when the transmission's gear oil is still cold.
I would expect whoever is responsible for MySpace owns a V6 New Edge Mustang with a busted exhaust (no, really, the catalytic converters are bad to fail and choke up the engine) and mis-matching bargain basement tires on factory 16" chrome rims.
Don't turn off your high beams...
This guy deserves a lot of credit if he was able to set up the fuel injection correctly on this car. I've read that the factory ECU can be one of the most inhibiting parts of the car when trying to perform upgrades.
This is almost arousing to me.
How hard could it be for Mitsubishi to re-introduce a decent compact pick up truck? Out of all their much older products, that's what I see still driving the most.
