Growing up me and my dad played SOR2 and SOR3 together all the time. At 66 years old he still plays the remake with me pretty often. Needless to say we’re both hyped for this one, hope it lives up to it.

The standard of living is such that in metro Atlanta GA with a 60k salary I can have a 1500 square foot house on an acre of land and two cars in a great area with low crime and excellent schools. Try that in most areas of blue states.
Your argument boils down to “It’s not square”. But it has much more cargo room than the Golf/GTI and nobody accuses those cars of “not being a hatchback”. The Fit has more room because it doesn’t have an independent rear suspension that intrudes on cargo capacity. I’ll sacrifice a little volume for better handling.
I actually put a 75" Sony X900E, in the box, in the back of mine. Try that with a Sedan.
Disagree. Rented a Civic sedan for two weeks. Bought a Hatchback afterwards. Hatchback is immensely more practical than the sedan, for all the same reasons they usually are. Right about the styling being batshit though. But I bought it for how practical it is and how fun to drive it is.
You can still buy it on Steam right now and play it there when it is released, it’ll be yanked sometime later today. You’ll have to pre-order it, but you can still get a refund if you need it.
I guess it was smart to announce this... I just pre-ordered it on Steam when I was intending to buy it awhile after release since I’m trying to save some cash up at the moment. But I love the previous two titles, I own them on Steam, and I don’t trust Epic Games.
Is the fake vent between the headlight and the amber reflector on the fender a *sticker*? Because the lighting makes it look like a fake flat sticker with vent pattern on it.
Yep, eats the precats. Happened to me. Stick with a rarer 2004-2005 model or budget for an engine swap.
My favorite PT Cruiser convertible quote: “It’s the handbasket I’m going to hell in” (because of the roll bar in the middle of it with the top down)
The audience is now deaf
Yep, Louisiana. Speed limiter on it was 70mph. Which is really annoying, because I would come up on someone doing 60-65ish, get in the passing lane, they would realize “Holy crap! I’m getting passed by a huge moving truck, better speed up!” And then I’d have to get back behind them, and of course they would slow back…
Can confirm. Rented 27 foot Penske truck with regular license. Drove it 10 hours from LA to GA. Was definitely not qualified for it. Terrified the entire time I was off the interstate on local roads with it. It’s really much harder than you first think it is to judge turns, bridge and even power line heights, etc.…
I also enjoyed it despite the flaws. I really wish someone would redo it and actually deliver on its promises. The first thing to do would be to get rid of the complicated handling and inventory system and replace it with a simple Elder Scrolls / Deus Ex style system. This game could be so cool as a walking simulator…
This! I’ve thought about getting a JDM import, but the weird thing is not only do you have to shift with the left hand, but the pattern is the same as a left-hand drive car... meaning the low gears you use the most in traffic are now the farthest away from you instead of the closest. I don’t know if I can get used to…
It’s a fair comparison, because the metrics show that people that would buy a sedan are actually moving to CUVs in a lower size bracket than the sedan that they would normally buy. A RAV4 costs more than a Corolla, but about the same as a Camry. Camry buyers are moving to the RAV4. Same with Accord buyers and the CRV.…
Apex seals go bark! bark! bark!
I hate the “angry eye” grille replacement trend for these that adds a slant to the top. I see it more than the stock ones at this point. I mean, the whole iconic thing is the round headlights. They don’t need to be more aggressive.
And ZJs. :(
Agreed. Even a hatch that looks exactly like a sedan is useful if you have dogs, need to move larger flat objects like TVs or folding tables and chairs, etc.
