Wasn’t Jan Stenerud already the first kicker to be a no doubt first-ballot Hall-of-Famer?

Prior to the Citi Open this year I never found myself able to root for Kyrgios at all, even at his best, because there was always the shadow of a tantrum over something mundane that kept me from buying in.
Exactly. He knows he’s just being a goofy old man who’s mostly out of touch and just embraces it. That said, I wouldn’t mind someone a little more laid back and velvety, but those types don’t really seem to exist anymore.
Exactly this.
I’m 99% sure it’s a gag gift from his friend Chris Tessaro, who was in Glitter.
Not trying to be a joke-truther, but Ellsbury is actually still on the team!
The lowest-possible MLS salary (accounting for maybe 20 or so players) is nearly twice the highest-possible NWSL salary... so maybe that has something to do with it?

Having cleaned rooms once upon a time this was the thing that made me cringe the most (well, in terms of…
Magic Johnson about to get fined again.
At least his old coach, Philadelphia’s Brent Brown
Saw KAT in person against the Wizards on Sunday and - not to go full-Simmons - there were large stretches of time where you forgot he was even in the game. And he had a game-high 28 points! Early on it felt like he could go for 50 and the Wizards wouldn’t have a chance at stopping him, but he just... didn’t.
I get that this is a broader piece about Boogie, but it seems worth at least mentioning that Klay didn’t play last night. (Nor did Livingston or Looney, both of whom will be part of the playoff rotation if healthy.)
