ok, i usually do consider myself to be pretty smart… i'm good at math and science and medicine and computers, and also psychology, anthropology, literary analysis, metaphors… i can easily follow shows and books with alternate/parallel timelines and all that. i had no problem understanding where they were going with

*i* have no understanding of how the US works at this level, or at the global finance level, and thus i've been completely confused by the price-whiterose dynamic this whole season. what exactly were they working on together, and how did price betray whiterose?

i know. i guess the founders never thought there'd be something called bitcoin…

i thought lynch too, immediately. i didn't get any of the global finance government stuff and i am usually a pretty smart chick as well, in math, science, psychology, social sciences, metaphors, etc.

that room was a previously unseen Dharma initiative testing facility, obviously ;)

maybe using that hard r is the way scandinavians say bonsoir?

i would argue that "all in their head" is a VERY valid way of describing a trans person (and i do have several trans friends i've had many convos with about this, because i find gender constructs fascinating, plus because they're my friends).

Twin Peaks, NJ

that made me wonder if it was elliot's first kiss, like, ever.

he definitely has some narcissistic, sociopathic personality disorder going around. if it's from his childhood, then perhaps someone should ask candidate T's childhood.

oh wow, THAT'S where it's from! it was killing me! when ross tries to explain to his kid that there are jewish holidays in december too… and without even using hanukkah harry!

medicare?

she also needs to learn how not to look SO suspicious all the time! constantly looking around, guilty look on her face… even when she's not doing anything wrong. that irritates me. her paranoid guilty facial expressions should have certainly gotten her caught by now.

i wasn't even sure if i'd seen it right or if i imagined it, it was that quick… had to rewind to make sure it really happened. fine camera work.

i agree, though i think the #1 underrated actor is hank azaria. just been watching him again on ray donovan and DAMN is he good. it's subtle, and you're like oh, he's just this character, but he's perfect, and his performances stay with you like the finish of a fine wine.

"By the time Mobley leaves his mysterious package in the bike messenger’s bag,"

my feeling is that esmail made it long enough to be *painful.* (which it was). painful to the viewers, us, so that we could, in some way, relate to the actual physical pain elliot was going through.

i watched almost every ep of SVU too and he STILL doesn't look like he's aged to me! 55? damn. and aren't johnny depp and brad pitt like 59?

Not for tech jobs!
