I work at HMV and we had to raise the price of the Wii by £20 2 weeks ago and the PS3 by a few quid. Basically took the 2.5% tax break off the PS3 price. It seems the stores are struggling to make money on the consoles and the manufacturers are bumping the warehouse prices of them up to milk extra money out of the UK

@TheGreatRaja: I agree on that. It opens the system up to mass fanboy 1 star spamming when a developer dares to charge a little more than they expected for a piece of DLC.

So it's Battlefields veteran thing but with a bit more content and a lot more space marines?

I used to collect games master magazine, all the way from issue 1 to around 1020 and eventually it was it's overly glowing reviews that got to me. It started off as such a great magazine with excellent writers and a purile sense of humour and it just turned into a industry ball licking kids mag. There's a reason EDGE

Thank god I get a 30% discount at work. But yeah, that's not as harsh as some of the mark-ups we get here. I would pretend to cough whilst saying Rock Band but that's a moot point these days.

I reckon if they had charged a little less and worked on making them all run on VGA at 60hz for the PAL regions and made sure there weren't any emulation issues they would have sold a ton of these. Plus they weren't exactly picking out the best games they could have.

Looks like some sort of racer in the style of Beetle Adventure Racing and Trackmania. Actually looks quite fun.

Songbird is cool and all but when will we get Squirrel Girl?

Odd that they are delaying games, which will mean they have to spend more on development, whilst also cutting down studios. Anyone get the feeling EA are using the economy as an excuse to make cutbacks they don't really need to.

Isn't that the top 5?

Typical of GAME. I remember when Steel Batallion was released in the UK and you couldn't get it anywhere cos GAME managers were buying their own stock to sell them on Ebay.

I saw this the other day whilst campaigning for the Transformers 1986 movie soundtrack to be added to Rock Band. It's not too bad but there's too many three note chords, as usual with custom songs people have done for Guitar Hero 2.
