Behind all of these police brutality cases and incidents where cops shoot unarmed people is the justification that not being cooperative is a crime that is worthy of a death sentence without a trial. I wish grand juries would start thinking of it this way. Even if she had been combative and uncooperative (which she

You’re missing the most important point: Yes, Compacts were shitty 40 years ago. But ALL CARS were shitty 40 years ago. ALL OF THEM.

“But, but, what about the (insert desirable old car here)? It was amazing and beautiful and better in every way than new cars!”

Nope. It was shitty.

That 40 year old Porsche 911? Shitty.

The sponge is a red herring. That in and of itself isn’t that surprising—it’s pretty common for companies to make one enclosure that will hold the internals for multiple products, and a foam brick is a pretty common way to prevent electronics from moving where they aren’t supposed to. Actually it’s one of the better

If you post a car up on Craigslist, you’re almost guaranteed to get one of these scams as an interested buyer. Shoot, if you post almost anything worth more than $100 you might get an email asking you to ship the product in return for a $1000 cashier’s check.

Random, but can we divorce Jalopnik from the rest of Gawker Media?

Is this British Racing Green or Olive Drab? I associate OD more with military-esque applications, and the shark mouth references the USAF Flying Tigers.

I nominate the Ducati MH900e. For those old enough to remember, the motorcycling world was completely blown away when this concept was revealed in 1999. Then everyone’s collective heads simply exploded when Ducati announced that they would put the bike into production. Ballsy as hell and a downright stunning concept

I’d go find a gif that shows someone missing the point, but I’ve got better things to do.

Seeing as I used one (previously for AutoX ) for my first bike for a few days...

Ah, but the Morgan looks like an awesome car, while the Honda looks a bike with a birth defect.

The Dallas News video is heartbreaking when the kid says “It made me feel like I wasn’t human, it made me feel like a criminal.”

Now this young man who was excited about science and engineering is possibly being charged on some trumped up bullshit all while American students continue to fall behind the rest of the

They are a high end, ultra high performance sport bike manufacturer. I would never see them in any other light.

Really? Checking their current model lineup, they have 7 distinct model lines, ONE of which is a sport bike.

I disagree, you can still have blame even if it is a accident.

Accident implies lack of intent, not lack of blame.

The way I deal with them on my motorcycle? 180DB of air horn. I have seen many cellphones go flying out of the window when I hit that puppy when they wander into my lane. When I am right up to the drivers side door and hit it, they pretty much assume they are about to die under the wheels of a Semi truck.

From experience, any 1980s Japanese bike in the 450-750 class. Cheap to buy, reliable and easy to repair, no real worry about scratching it or dropping it, etc. And next season put it up for sale for exactly what you paid for it and get the bike you want.

I'm from Sweden, I don't know what a Blazer is. We all drive Koenigseggs and/or Volvos. Usually Volvos.

You're aiming the mirrors in too far. they should just barely overlap the rearview mirror edges so you get a full view and get rid of those blindspots.
