Still one of the great opening guitar riffs, even after all of these years!

*Timothy* B. Schmit Duh!
I’ve always loved the vocals of Thomas B. Schmit, first with Poco and later with The Eagles.

It’s a Beautiful Day, was one of the first bands to emerge from the San Francisco scene in 1967 during what would be known as The Summer of Love.
A great Neil Young clip from a 1971 performance at Massey Hall in Toronto.
I’ve also found it interesting that Andy is considered one of the founders of Grunge, yet “Landrew the Love Child” referred to his music as Love Rock and not the anger and despair that we often associate with Grunge. Obviously Andy had his demons, yet I believe he wanted to spread love and happiness through his music.…
I’ve often thought of where Eddie Vedder would have ended up had Andy Wood not died.
Todd Rundgren from his early days.
Touché! You actually made me laugh out loud! But in all seriousness, it’s great that we all have our own preferences in how we enjoy our music experience.
This is really wonderful, Jonee, and to think that we would be robbed of the enjoyment of watching these great artists at their craft if it was just the studio version :/
I was just thinking that The Beatles almost always listed their writing credits as McCartney/Lennon, but to me, this has classic McCartney pop tune written all over it!
You say goodbye, but I say hello
This tune is so awesome and I absolutely hated it as a kid!

I’ve always loved E.L.O., but the older I get the more I’ve grown to appreciate Jeff Lynne. He truly is one of those rare artists who is able to see the big picture of music, kind of like a great composer. A Brian Wilson type, or I would even put Todd Rundgren in that category. Just brilliant!
