You are correct and it’s always been this way. Europe elects politicians with science and engineering degrees. We elect lawyers and business owners who’s main skill is bullshitting.

It’s become painfully obvious that few people in positions of power within our Government have the knowledge required to execute, legislate, or interpret any laws related to technology.

The reality of these laws is that they’re going to force transwoman (who will resemble women) might be in the men’s room and transmen (who will resemble men) might be in the women’s room. That's going to make these douchebags even more uncomfortable as well obviously as the people who can't use their correct bathroom.…

Yeah, it keeps getting me that laws like this won’t even necessarily target transsexual individuals. Instead they’ll target people who bigots think look transsexual, for however the informant in question wishes to define that phrase.

I’m so glad I live in SF, because I am a very very butch woman, and I am constantly worried that “concerned citizens” might see me in a ladies room and flip out on my ass. I think I can cross off the entirety of the deep south off of any future travel itineraries.
