I love Prezi... just don’t get all happy with animations.

So with pre-existing conditions most companies won’t reject you entirely but they will reject covering that condition. That is the issue with chronic illnesses. The injuries that have a start and end aren’t as impacted by these things. Illness that continues and then you have a lapse in coverage means you may or may

Yes. The whole Taiwan/China thing should have let everyone know that diplomacy is largely theater and while ridiculous it’s a facade that other leaders prefer from us. We had supported Taiwan behind the scenes but always publicly maintained the One China Policy. That’s how these things work. Backroom negotiations are

I cannot agree more with your therapist bit at the end. I have had that shit from his supporters and Bernie bros. What is really so bad about Trump or it can’t all be bad. UGH...

Of course getting a disease means you are no longer healthy but that doesn’t negate healthy life choices you may have made before or going forward. Healthy lifestyle means just that, it’s a lifestyle or a choice about what you consume and what you do with your body.

Really? Many diseases are not driven by lifestyle. You may be doing as much as possible with diet and exercise and still have a disease that has nothing to do with those choices.

Please let this happen.

You have to be kidding me with this shit. Senators can call a sitting President a liar during a session but someone laughing is worthy of prosecution by the DOJ? This is absolutely chilling.

Last reply because this is exhausting. The 1% were screwing folks prior to government involvement. Government regulation, which some seem dead set on dismantling, institutes those protections. Workers safety, environmental protections, civil protections, etc... are in place by the government. They came out of things

While I would like to be on board with what you’re saying I don’t believe Trump actually understands that. That is in fact the case but I doubt he has any comprehension of this.

Your comment needs more stars.

So you believe in anarchy? Government in some form provides for the transportation of people and goods around their communities and into other communities. It provides a structure for rule of law that doesn’t involve people dueling in the streets to resolve differences. It provides solutions for trading of goods and

Unfortunately I think consent is a generational thing. In terms of understanding it, not having it. A number of women in my parent’s generation still abide by the victim blaming/she was asking for it game. Also the “no” at any point or regardless of what happened previously is one they can’t seem to wrap their heads

But that is a good thing, right? That they have additional opportunities to send this asshole to jail?

I legit thought the pic was a mistake for a sec. He looks like the actor in American Gothic.

OMG! These morons not understanding how society benefits overall from taxes and healthcare plans. I’m not paying for it because it doesn’t benefit me is the dumbest argument they have. Some of these things could directly impact you or someone you care about now or in the future. I vote put them on an island and let

I’ve seen info about the dementia link. I think it was on NPR they talked about declining vocabulary and unable to find the right word for things as early signs of dementia. They looked at Reagan’s words throughout his Presidency vs HW I believe and came to this conclusion. They weren’t saying Reagan was in full

Well I don’t believe Mexico is responsible for our rampant opiod problem. Canada and it’s cheap pharmacies may be on the hook.

On her side with this one too. Consent is a lesson that needs to be taught to the person being asked of and the person doing the asking. I understand it may be surprising to be told no when you’re raised to believe in sharing but part of learning social skills is respecting people who are different. This is actually a

I flew Southwest yesterday. I had a full bladder but the seatbelt sign was on. As I was going into the bathroom the flight attendant chided me that I needed to return to my seat. I had already walked all the way up to the restroom and I really had to go. She left it with something about not giving permission, it
