In defense of Whole Foods they do have great flower selections. I purchased flowers for my wedding there. We put the bouquets together ourselves. That said he’s got some lame picks there.

It’s like the free speech issues. It often seems like the cases paving the way for upholding the right are examples not everyone really supports.

The rational citizens have no explanation for this and apologize deeply to the world. Please be patient as we await our next leader who will hopefully understand how governing works.

This explains why a tweet of mine disappeared from existence the other day. I was re-tweeting and added a remark. Poof, gone from the feed. I thought I might not have actually published it but I’m quite sure I did. I’ve also been having issues with gifs not posting.

I posted this poem on FB post election. The last two lines really hit home for me given the dem’s seeming lack of unity and power in the last several years versus the Tea Party and redistricting successes of the Repubs. Granted the Republicans have been laying the groundwork for their domination since the late 70's.

I’ve only seen the 1959 version and while I found the story interesting I found the portrayal of the daughter by a clearly white actress off putting. I will have to check out the original.

The thing that strikes me is his language about crime and pointed bigotry is the same. It kind of undermines the theory that he’s under the influence of dementia as a means to explain his behavior. I suppose another mental disorder can’t be ruled out.

I agree with you but I am concerned that her brand of politics- obstructionism and undermining the agency she was charged with- may have an impact on her son’s outlook. Especially any decisions related to environmental protection.

Um.... $15 a month for insurance versus thousands of dollars in ransom seems like a no brainer to me. If you can cover your business for that much a month, especially a high end business, that’s a steal.

There was literally a large banner of Douglass down the street from Trump’s DC Hotel during the Women’s march. I have a photo. I’m not sure what the building is and how it relates but come on... Took me a minute but I figured out it is the DC Mayor’s office in Freedom Plaza.
