Is ‘stupid’ a mental health issue?
“Yeah, he was a fucking idiot, but that clearly isn’t yet a death penalty offence.”
Being an idiot isn’t a mental illness should be our nations slogan.
Sovereign Citizens are not mentally ill (generally.) They are, however, extremely dumb, naïve, confrontational even when it adversely affects their own interests, and basically have the mindset of a 5 year old screaming at their mother that they don’t have to do what they say.
Pretty sure the Mormons were ordered out of US territory on pain of death. Many of them are conservative assholes and their religion is weird but the founders genuinely faced persecution and intolerance.

I feel aweful for everyone involved here. For the loss of life, for the loss of a son. For the officers who have to live with taking a life (leaving out whether or not it was justified...you still gotta live with that).
I have to disagree, the driver threatened the officers, then reached for a firearm that after the event was on the floor on the passenger side. the only way that gun moves from his holster to the floor is if he was pulling it from the holster so this was 100% a case where the force was justified. He intended to shoot…
